I live 45 minutes or so outside of Toronto and I've been playing games since I was 5 or 6 years old. I started on early 3D PC games and strangely enough, an old NES (even though it was before my time). I now own a DX10 PC and an Xbox 360.

I play a variety of games and have no contrived brand loyalties. I play Wii and PS3 whenever the opportunity arises.

I was browsing upcoming games on Gametap the other day and I noticed something strange. Very strange. It looked as though one of the most critically panned and universally despised games of all time was going to be made available for download to the loyal subscribers of Gametap. Shocked and appalled, I checked on the Gametap website and it's true. John Romero's epic failure will soon be up for all to play. I can't really say much more about this without being overwhelmed by the urge to cancel my Gametap subscription, but with Sam and Max: Season 2 coming out, that's not a good idea.

I'd like to apologize for the terrible editing job on the picture. I only have paint and I fail at graphic design. Sorry. Also, sorry if this has already been posted and everyone knows about it.

I wish I'd known about this when I was at PAX. I could have grabbed one of the guys running the GameTap booth and asked them, "WHY??"

Oh, please tell me it will be one of those free to play games. I've been making fun of that fucking game for years, but I've never actually played it.

I know it's probably not good to WANT to play Daikatana......but I like to personally experience something before I hate it.
