Epic 8-bit Art: Live @ MAGfest Edition Wrap Up// Submitted @ 8:33 AM on 01.16.2011
It's the last day of MAGfest. Closing ceremony is in less than 6 hours. Lets go out with a bang.
I grabbed a shot of Dtoids own Sonic9jct cosplaying as our robot overlord. You know you've got clout when other people dress up as you and it's not even Halloween.
StormsLegacy is more into the Furry Scene (don't be hatin') than the VG scene, but she still crafts a mean Tetris Pin.

What do you get when you in the center of a venn diagram overlapping toilet humor, video games and high quality art? Paper Lab Studios.
Having sat next to Interrobang at the last 3 events we vended, and playing a mean hand of tic-tact-toe against Sarah at last BitGen, we can say that their comics and artwork are second to none. The looks of horror and shame in the first print is classic.
Nothing like a refreshing Nuka-Cola to quench your thirst in the wastelands. Paintmeaperfectworld had so many Fallout related goodies, it made my eyes bleed. I got a Nuka-Cola Fridge so I wouldn't have to start out with zero caps when the world ends and my game starts.
Square Painter does some amazing work. I could have filled the post with nothing but stills of his paintings. The amount of time it takes to hand paint these amazing works defies belief, but for being original signed art, you're paying a very reasonable price. That scene from Contra was like 4 feet tall, I shit you not.
Well it's time we turn this Tetris Cabinet over to our tame video game player. Some say that he's beaten LoZ with only the Big Shield. And that he doesn't understand the concept of quick time events. All we know is that he's called The Stig.
And that's a wrap folks. Catch you later.
