I need D'toid's help! For Reals...

Sad Panda indeed.

Its my birthday on Monday and my girlfriend, bless her heart, had pre-ordered Guitar Hero Metallica (360 version...Region Free ftw!) as my birthday present aeons ago. Now it turns out not only will it not arrive by Monday, it probably wont even be shipped by then. She, like i, was devastated. I had a great get-together of fellow metalheads to rock the night away planned, but alas it appears it's not ment to be.

That's when i figured you guys may be able to help me...

Basically seeing as i am living in Ireland, i cant get my hands on the game until May anyway but id be prepared to pay anyone who'd be willing to help me out and purchase/send me a copy of it asap. I've already looked into the usual spots, Play-Asia etc... and they have all told ill be waiting at least 5 days before it shipped, even with courier delivery. (Which i am more than willing to pay)

So ill leave it with you guys, again i don't expect anything from you guys but i figured your quite a resourceful bunch and overall a great cadre of people so hopefully someone would be willing to put some time aside and get the game sent to me.

I don't want to say money isn't an option but id be prepared to pay anything to have this for Monday, or sooner, if FedEx/UPS etc... can make that possible?!?! 24-48hrs would be amazing...Money talks, right?

If you have any advice/tips that may help me in my situation then please let me know...Oh and Trolls, that doesn't incl you but thanks for caring.

Lets see... I don't know how much your willing to spend but FedEx says if I ship it tomorrow it can get it Ireland on Monday. Which is cutting it rather close and that's if it doesn't get held up in customs, that is $43. Now there is an international next day flight option but I have to call them in order to get those rates. Still interested?

So now that we got that aside, how much does a quart of jetfuel cost nowadays? Over here in Europe were still getting used to this 'wheel' thing.

I forgot to factor in customs, which here in Ireland, is terrible.

Dang, Rainbows i got, Leprechauns really dig those things here.

But alas, sunshine im out of. Once you hit the Irish coast you'll pretty much have to glide in.

I've heard about hovercraft's powered by children's tears but i don't want to look at that option just yet. I get the feeling using the whole "but i was in international waters?!?!" story will wash with the UN.

You know what? I have an Amazon Prime account, which means I get overnight shipping for only 3.99 an item. I don't know if this will work to get it shipped to Ireland though, but it should since I pay for this damn account. I'll need your address though to see if this would work. So if you want to try it than get back to me.

I tried the Amazon route and it got crazy with import tax and levies so i said screw it.

Also i checked the Amazon Prime stipulations and it states that the offer it only open to continental US.

Its 5:30 am here so im off to bed, but i appreciate the ideas and help guys. Ill check again in the morning.
