GH: WT buying advice
Demios | 12:46 AM on 10.27.2008 5 comments

So here's the situation... I'm currently in L.A. until Tuesday morning and was trying to buy Guitar Hero WT
on the 360 seeing as it's region free and a hell of alot cheaper here. (close to 50-60 dollars worth). I tried
the e.b. games near my hotel in universal studios, but alas it sold out... Without having to go too far out of
the Hollywood, what are my odds of getting it? I saw a Virgin and Gamestop near hollywod blvd...worth a
shot?

Appreciate any advice guys and gals :)

Pretty high I would say, they're definitely not going to be out of stock anytime soon. Especially if you're buying the bundle, seeing as you seem to be traveling I wouldn't really suggest the bundle unless you're willing to pay the fee to send it. Best choice would probably be Amazon unless they screw you on shipping (I'm not European I wouldn't know). Hope that helps.

well the websites will deliver to me, but the customs will rape me on tax once it gets home to Ireland...meh, I might just wait, carrying wouldn't be a huge issue, it's just rare I get the upperhand with regards to release dates being from Europe n all! :)

Thx anyway

There are more and more reports about drums failing, Demios. For instance here or here. I'd definitely check out how the warranty is done if you buy it in the US and take it back to Ireland. You don't want a useless drumkit after a week when you get back.

Too bad Rock Band 2 isn't region free on the 360, those drums look really solid.
