Hello everyone,

I've been playing Killzone 2 again lately and it has reminded how good this game is. So to talk about something related, Well I have recently been experimenting with the scout class.

Now most snipers out there usually just cloak and sit in a corner, then spot and mark then go in for the kill. Well this is essentially the idea behind using the scout class from a basic perspective. Although I have found this to be slow and there is a much better method of picking up kills.

First and foremost make sure you have the scout class unlocked.

Next you will need to find a location that has constant enemy interest and then sit a good distance away from the action. One example is on Tharsis Depot, during the search and destory mission for the helghast, sitting in the noted location and hinding behind some crates is good for some easy kills.

Next you want to make sure than your ironsight aiming under the options is set to 'Hold to aim' this way you don't need to press your aim button twice.  Next always make sure that your scope is on 2x aim, that way you will get a clear view when you go into aim,  Then finally follow this pattern, Move out from cover--zoom quickly--aim quickly--fire--let go of zoom--move behind cover if being shot or rinse and repeat. I hope this guide gives you a better insight of how to pull off quick scoping in Killzone 2 and I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.

Flaming (and Fanboys, I don't even own a Xbox 360) aside and all those who hate the Halo franchise, hear me out.

The Halo franchise has some of the best multiplayer because of, customization.

Right from the very first game, customization has been a key part to the Halo series, may it be small as changing the respawn rate or to big as creating your own map, customization in the Halo games has been key to a successful fun multiplayer.

Now all those of you are thinking, "Halo didn't create customization, we have had customization since CS or Unreal"

You are absolutely right, game modification has been around for a while, although thing with this modification it requires either advanced skills with programming, or perhaps understanding how to use a developer tool (Learning maybe simple but it still requires time) Also in terms of consoles, very few First person shooters have in-game editors, and I can think of none in this generation besides Halo that have in-game editors.

So how does Halo become superior in modification compared to previous FPSes?

Well Bungie I believe have done a very good job in terms of making simple things to change, e.g. gravity level, respawn rate, health amount, damage amount etc. also adding in a forge mode that very few console FPSes give.

Halo Reach, the latest version seems to me that it has customization completely thought out, adding more to forge and also adding in custom options for firefight (Come on don't you think gruntapocalypse looks fun?)

So to conclude, I know many of you will disagree (I've already read a blog complaining about Halo's multiplayer) but I think now that the Halo franchise has come to a end people hopefully will give it a try and realize that every time the experience changes, may it be a minor change in the gravity levels, or perhaps a entire new forgery, Halo will live on to be my most entertaining multiplayer experiences.

Author's Note: Play Halo a lot on a friends Xbox. I actually own a PS3 :3 Console love all around <3

The amount of times I've moaned and groaned about how games these days are lacking splitscreen options, although with the recent showing up of Goldeneye has made me think, what did happened.

With the current day and age of console systems the technology has increased rapidly, game are be coming more and more realistic by the years. Also with the internet everything is now online, everyone is becoming antisocial. But what has happened? No more split screen, no more local communal gaming.

The old days of N64, split screen at it's best.

Killzone 2 with it's fancy graphics that's good, although no split screen to see here

So one thing killing split screen is the graphics of games, due to their power hungry nature it is only possible to render it once on one console, I beg to differ if the N64 was capable of rendering the screen 4 times, why not my PS3? Or my Xbox 360?

Eep, The screen is shrinking!

Now it isn't all the time the graphics killing it as Halo 3 is an example of current gen split screen at its best as I know and love it.

Also our beloved Call of duty series has managed to keep the split screen tradition together, I still play this often with friends on my PS3. (Props to Infinity ward and Treyarch!)

So split screen has taken a turn in the past 10 years, from loads to barely any, hopefully the next generation of consoles will provide even more power and be capable of rendering everything 4 times over.

But in the meantime everything isn't so bad as we have this to look for on the horizon:

That's all I have to say, let's hope split screen will manage to live on.

Hello guys, I have written a Dante's inferno guide from memory, meaning I have wrote what I could remember, Enjoy. (Try not to take it too seriously) and spelling and grammatical mistakes aside.

Dante's Inferno.

Stage one:
Upon beginning Dante¡¯s Inferno you will be faced with the simple task of killing a few people with your fimsly halbard, the game will go over the basics of the game, such as how to dodge and attack etc.
After killing quite a few random people a boat from an on going war will crash into the side of the castle structure, jump on the boat and head to the left where you should jump up to a ledge. After jumping up follow the path until you reach a cutscene. The cutscene will play and Dante will be stabbed in the back by some random guy. After death will appear and Dante being Dante will go against death. This is the first boss he is fairly easy actually just block his attacks and this run in and slice him a few times, gradually after a few hits death will reviece the R2 icon over his head, upon pressing R2 a Quick time event sequence will start. Complete the sequnce correct and you will now have death¡¯s scythe. Continue a new sequence and death will now get pwned.

Well done you cheated death and stole his scythe, now another cutscene will play showing Dante finding his house ransacked and his love Birece is out back playing dead. Lucifer will nab Birece into the forest, after the cutscene follow the path, in the graveyard you will be confronted by a small group of easy dudes, take them out then continue onwards. By now you will have reached a church enter and now another cutscene of Birece being pwned, now head over to the altar Birece was on and take the cross, this cross now is a cool secondary attack that doesn¡¯t need mana Sweet! . The church now will start to break away take out the small flying bat things around and then wait for the log to fall, quickly run across and head down into hell. Slide down the skeleton spine thing then fall down onto a ramp. Now a large rolling thing will start to roll after you take out the simple guys and get to the end as fast as possible. At the end you will have escaped. Continue on grab the power up things if you want to. Next a gate will close and more guys will pop up take them out and continue on again. Now in the first corner you will be confronted with some invisivble fire guys, the only way to take these guys out is to first use your cross, when you see a guy get near use the cross and then smash them with your scythe. After about 4 of these guys carry on. There either should be a path to continue down or something, I can¡¯t quite remember.

If so carry on until you reach a place where you are required to head down into a circular arena. Grab the stuff before hand and head down. Down here you will get your first magic attack, a thirdary attack. Now dudes will spawn and attack, take the out and gradually a large beasty thing will break through the wall, these beaties you will encounted many times so don¡¯t fear them just smash them up with your sycthe and dodge any smashes it uses. Gradually after hitting it up a few times start the QTE. After completeing the QTE you will now be riding the beast! Use the beast the finish off the last few guys and then proceed to open the gates to hell with the beast.

A cutscene will play and you will fall into the first circle of hell, Limbo. Stuff happens in Limbo there is a puzzle and something I can¡¯t quite remember, you will have to work this one out for yourself.

The Limbo boss is piss easy, dodge his tail attacks m(If you want you can stand right next to the large spike disc and just jump over anything he sends at you) at some point you will be forced to do a QTE, you will be thrown to the side. Just jump back down now and start to smash the hell out of the Limbo King dude. Gradually a R2 sign will appear over the spikes now you can star the QTE, follow the steps and Limbo will get mashed into paper pulp. With Limbo dead continue behind him to get to Lust.

Climb down the wall and then follow the path down to lust. On the path you will confronted with a large cannon shooting out mass amounts of energy. To get pass this first rotate the cannon at the large penis shaped tower and let it make a hole in the lust energy. Quickly run to the hole and jump in. In here you will see a snake head, first kill off the random lust women with massive purple tentcles. Then open the snake head to revel a lever use the lever to get up. Then head up to the massive circular disc, pull out the statue and let it block the platte from moving up. Then jump over to a ledge and pull a lever, then the hole above will open, quickly jump back on with the disc to head up the tower. Upon going up you will confronted with a small group of enemies, take them out and then continue on. Gradually Cleopatra will appear and her large boobs will produce enemies. What you will to do here is stop her from pushing the platform down, smash her hands to prevent her from pushing it down, she will now back away, during this time run to the left side to pull the lever to rotate the snake head towards Cleopatra, then if she has put her hand back smash it off again. Now run to the right side and head up to the lever, pull it and fire will come out of the snake, making her fall off. The platform now will continue to head up the tower. At the tower proceed to follow the path around the top of the tower, upon reachin g the tower you will be confronted with Luicfer in bed with Birece. Then a cutscene of the holy cursade will start showing Dante breaking his vole. The cutscene ends then Clepatra will spit out her husband ceser. He is sooo easy just dodge and attack basically, use magic if you want to with a combo of the cross. After a while you will kill Ceser and Clepatra will freak out and start crying and shrink as well. She will now stand over Ceser and then look at you for what you have done. She then trys to start seducing you follow the QTE and at the end it looks like you hump her, but actually you stab her in her women parts.

Now something happens here I think the tower breaks away or something, anyway head down to Gluttony. Follow the path down to gluttony and you will What?! Boss at the beginning WTF... any way Ceberus is easy enough, watch out for his attacks and stay focused. On the ground you should see glowing white spots, these spots are where you need to go to. Head over to it and press Circle quickly then when Ceberus tries to get you it will blow up causing the head where ever you placed the bomb thing to faint. Then press R2 to start a QTE, finish it right and you will perfectly slice the head off in a neat circle. Rinse and repeat for the other 2 heads. Anyway after its dead walk where it was to continue into gluttony. First into gluttony you will be welcomed by some worm thingys that will try to eat you, if one manages to grab you smash circle like mad to prevent it from eating you, after than just slice it once to kill it. Carry on through the paths until you reach something or other I can¡¯t quite remember, anyway gradually you will end up in Greed.

In greed you will be welcomed by your dad a greedy man. He will look pretty desheveled and he is gold. Follow the path careful of the lava to end up being torumented by a large bowl spilling out lava stuff. Kill the badies to prevent them from pouring in too much lava stuff. After their dead pull the lever to stop the bowl from pouring. Then carry on the path is farily linear so don¡¯t worry you should work out what to do here. At some point you will have to ride a beasty again kill the dude on it then use the beasty to move the block blocking your path. Go through and climb around the sides until you reach a golden statue. Kill the dudies and then a block will appear drag the block over to the button to make the statue sink down. Quickly (Even though is a bloody slow monster) run back over to the frame climb up and make it across. Keep following the sides until you reach a large circle disc. Jump down and prepare to fight some more dudes. Kill them and a cutscene will start. You dad will mock you and then you will be back in control.

*WARNING* I glitched after this cutscene and fell into a endless void. If this happens to you will have to repeat the following steps again, I know lame quite indeed, but oh well it happens..

After this you will be able to push the disc down, push the disc down and it will fall into lava, now you gets to fight your daddy. Fight him he is easy enough if you know what you are doing. Use you powerful thingy ma jig if you have it available. Then just smash smash him. After wards he will die and explode.. now you will claim his jewel. Now head down into Anger.

In anger you will now have to make it across the large wall again, head down into anger and carry on. First go into the forst, oh and by the way if you have been talk to the ghosty dude, he will speak some more words of wisdom to you okay? Don¡¯t piss him off. Carry on and make you way through the forst and the waters containing dead people reaching up with their hands. There will be badies so just be prepared to take them out. Carry on and at some point you will be at a large castle tower thing. Now you will need to first turn the lever to make the fire pit move down, after it moves down quickly jump up onto the platform, then grab the pole and drag it across following the route it is stuck in. Then as you do so the platform will move up away from the fire pit, if in the even the fire pit makes it up it will start to make fire come out of the holes, don¡¯t let it do that. Then as you go up the levels you will need to make sure you can move the pole through the route otherwise you will die (No Joke) get to the top and you win. Then cutscenes will start and you will end up by another lake. You will then find you self standing on a raft thing, only to find out its a massive monster D:

Once getting to the end the anger monster will stand up and make you fall off, follow the QTE to make it alive, you will now be put against various enemies that you will have to take out, kill them and the gate opens. Go through and make it across to the next section. Kill more enemies while dodging the massive anger monster to proceed onwards. Then pull the lever to make the bridge go up, make it across and you will be put against various enemies that you will have to take out gradually you will kill them all and you will be able to go up a lift that takes you up to a cutscene, during this cutscene Luicfer will make you angry by making out with Birece. Disgust aside Dante will now jump on top of the large anger monster to take control of him, the camera will now pan out Really Really far until it blacks out, you now are in da big city man. Carry on with the monster enjoy it while you can because you get to use him for all of 2 minutes, as at one point your forced to make him stomp, which then leads him to fall down.

Now welcome to Heresy :)

I had a close shave yesterday after I was hit in the left eye with a badminton shuttlecock.

Now after about 24 hours of resting I can almost see out of that eye again.

But it occured to me, what would happen if I did go blind? I mean I wouldn't be able to play games anymore, it would be heart breaking.

Luckily I can just about right this blog using my right eye and should be able to play again soon (I hope) and more down right stupid is the release of Uncharted 2, just great.. Now I have to wait even longer.

Arghhhhh..

I made a mistake on PSN (Cries)

Somewhere I read that rockband unplugged demo came out, so I was interested to download it and try.

After playing the demo I found out the Full game was only £3.19, so I straight away went and bought it thinking "I just got the full game for 3 quid :D, stupid sony they always make mistakes on PSN "

This was too good to be true, so I went and googled, and low and behold it only has 5 songs, the rest you need to purchase for £0.99 each, Shite...

Just warning you, read the fine print.
