Sorry about the mistakes i've been drinking since 5pm EST.
There are without a doubt games taht control awefully. Not sure which one you are refering to here but mostly when controls suck its the game design not the gamer.
The only game that pissed me off was P.N.05, but I'm playing Rule of Rose now and everything I've read is about the gameplay. And it really is like the first RE. But I was just asking in general do players work with the controls or do they/us just get annoyed and move on.
Depends on the game. If game captivates me with an intriguing story or a unique element, I'll keep playing. Of course, there are times where I just get so sick of the game that I quit, Breakdown is a good example of that.
Controls were one of the reasons I quit playing silent hill 3. The biggest reason though was trying to play alone at night and with the lights off. Yes I'm a baby
Come again?
no.
when you hear someone who made lair say that a move should work 8 out of 10 times, you know it's a problem.
someone who sucks just sucks.
Sometimes I can fight through bad controls, but if the game isn't compelling enough in other areas I won't bother.
