Two Worlds 2 sets timeline and release for this winter
David Stonecipher | 3:38 PM on 07.03.2009 13 comments

Many gamers where excited when news first broke about the original Two Worlds. The term "Multiplayer Oblivion" was thrown around freely. When the title actually released, however, it was received very poorly. Bad story and worse voice acting seemed to be the death of the title. Even its multiplayer was largely unplayable here in the states due to lag issues.

Reports on the game now is that many of these problems have been fixed for those who actually stuck around long enough to see them through. The voice acting, although still bad, has been redone and lag is no longer present in multiplayer sessions; and its multiplayer that has kept gamers still playing this game and that has given Topware the money to continue to release free add-ons and updates.

Apparently, the game has received enough renewed success as of late that their latest expansion,. The Temptation, has been changed from an expansion to a full on sequel due to this winter. In the press release that was sent out today, it was confirmed that Two Worlds 2 will release this winter.

Glad that you posted this, as I've definitely never seen this before.

Why do you have to hurt me this way?

Why do you have no soul? I hope you enjoyed the 10 cents you just earned.

It was a joke, Wrighty.

Read the explanation of what's going on here.

The Examiner is made up of thousands of would-be writers who just want to dump their works here without talking to us. If these two aren't banned, what's stopping hundreds more from bleeding the blogs dry? Enjoy sifting through 30 Examiner "news" articles a day in the near future.

I love how these guys think we would go The Examiner for their average writing when we've got perfectly good writers here on the Dtoid front page.

At least post something original and worthwhile and then your examiner whoring wouldn't be so bad. We've got editors on Destructoid for this sort of thing.

Magnalon: They only get their 10 cents if we click the link to The Examiner, correct?

Can we get somebody to do a PSA blog about no clicking the fucking link?

@Eternal
I'm not positive about how much they earn, but I'm considering infiltrating their network just to see how much it would be.

I would love to do a PSA blog, but it would do nothing. People like Elsa, among others, would completely miss the underlying circumstances in which these scammers are going about their business, and it would just be buried in a days time.

They just need to be banned before it gets out of hand.

Yes, I think banning would be for the best. If people seriously can't see what's going on here, than there is nothing we can do besides hope Hamza has an itch to scratch with his banhammer.

Guys, I sent an email to support and Niero replied.

He said that the voting system for the Cblogs is coming pretty soon and we will be able to bury blogs like this in the near future. Just, for the love of Ninja Turtles, ignore this and move on until then.

Thanks a ton De Bloo.

I just hope a ton of others don't flood in, otherwise that's too many blogs to bury.
