I'm just saying that it's that label that causes a lot of the confusion.
Videogames sounds like something from the 70's when it first appeared in the public's awareness.
I think your argument is very thoughtful and bears some consideration. The lexicon of the industry does influence how it is perceived. This post is "kickin' like Jim Kelly" brah! That last bit may get lost in translation if you aren’t African-American….
