All right this is betterness. I can give some thought to this. Well im married to a also gamer named Heather. Shes has a PS2 and we share the Ds, i have a Xbox. I had every nintendo system and sega but was forced to sell them for stuff, you know like food.[

Im heavy first person shooter (great sniper, and awesome assault guy if you recruiting for a team) on pc i like to get my rts on, i liked WoW but i need my own pc for that. I like some rpgs but not all.

I live in Austin Tx and yes i love the Cowboys (but not heath ledger)

I listen to alterative musice such as, slipknot, system of a down, toadies, deftones, mudvayne, tool, nin. I also like my local music so you bitches look up Ok City Ok and Kissinger.

I snack on burgers mostly i fucking love sonic! On a pizza ill take extra cheese mushrooms and bell peppers

Im fave color is red w/ black. My GT is DarkanubisPwnr if your up for a COD 3 match.

Ok one of the many things that i hate to hear is "selling out". oh so and so sold out, i cant believe they sold out, they were better before they sold out, BULLSHIT u hear sometimes within the gaming industry especially nowadays but ive noticed an upsurge of fanboyism in my local music scene. If you know anything about austin tx, you know we have a rich music scene. I go to like maybe 2 shows a month so i dont consider my self a "scenester". But when someone says a band sold out and therefore are not good, it ticks me off. Apparently getting a label or being a myspace featured artist or antthing other than being sponsered by the local dive is "selling out". Instead of being happy that a band you like has the money that they worked for, you wanna say oh they sold out to corporate..wtv idk what they bitch about exactl, maybe they just like to bitch, but all i know is shut the fuck up and listen to the damn music and be happy for the poor bastards. and heres something for you "emo kids"

Isn't it common for everyone to say their area has a "rich music scene?" I hear so many places saying that...I laugh.

I say bands sell out, when they do. And I see your point about just listening to the music but a lot of times bands only get those spotlights by changing the core of their music which violates these fans and causes fans to say "sell-out."

Guess, what, I like gaming but what gaming company has been called a Sell-Out BESIDES EA? I can't recall hearing that being thrown around in the gaming industry. First and pretty only time hearing about SO's is from music scenes.

When bands get picked up by big record labels (e.g. Capitol, Sony BMG, etc.), in most cases, they lose a ton of creative control in what they write and play. This leads to sounds that aren't appreciated by their original fans, but are appreciated by tons of ignorant little MTV-watching kids all around the country. It's a fact.

And, I know nobody will believe it, but Boy Sets Fire used to be cool. For real.

But it's the BAND's fault for believing the lies of the man, when it's so well known that they're in it to screw the band. If you want to make it big, yet still retain your dignity, you sign with a big indie label. In punk music, you go with Epitaph, Hellcat, or Fat Wreck Chords.
