For those of you who are as addicted to this game as I am, you will be happy to know that Capcom officially announced a patch for HD Remix. They didn't release any details yet, but here's a quote from their blog:
As many of you have guessed, we do have a patch in the works. Sorry to keep you in the dark about it, but as Sven stated in the "Ask Capcom" area, there are certain steps we need to go through before we can even announce the patch existence.
I would like to assure you that while I haven't been able to respond to many inquiries on the forums, Capcom has been listening and we will be fixing many of the issues that many of you have been experiencing. I would like to thank, you the fans, for sticking by the game despite some issues you may be having.
I am unable to disclose the patch contents now, but please stay tuned to the forums and the Capcom blogs when I will be announcing it at a later date. Thanks again for being great Street Fighter fans!
Hopefully the patch will address all of the UI bugs and connection issues first off. And secondly, they need to do something about that E. Honda guy, what a dick. Unlike everyone else I don't really see a problem with Akuma, he takes like 5 punches and he's out cold.
Oh and it would be nice to have something to show for my 400 ranked wins, I dunno something other than a zero skill rating would be super neat.
If all it does is address the thing where the health bars freeze in place, I'll be happy with that.
and yea..fix online play. It's solid, but I hate those few matches where the opponent is winning due to crap connection and simply teleports around the place.
