BLASPHEMY I SAY.
You need a hug.
Someone ought to slot her into place.
@greeneggsnsam
Or slot in her place. I'm a bad man.
I Have friends who are retro gamers
You know...someone from the outside will look at this and think, "These people are talking about beating a child because she thought a song in a video game was boring."
Thankfully I'm not from the "outside" so fuck this whore!
8-yr old children: Breaking video games and dreams since forever. loolllll
a travesty of the most epic proportions :o
but I say the same about the atari :/ And you would say the same about some of the original pos computers that came out when you weren't old enough to talk/weren't born yet.
Just how shit goes sadly and you can't expect much else ;(
Insulting Tetris brings out the rape in Dan Gale, confirmed!
To be fair maybe she was listening to the music from Type C. Type C was pretty weak.
I can't tell if it's a good thing or not that even though I haven't played tetris for nigh on 15 years I still know exactly how the tune goes in my head without having to hear any cues.
@The Duke
That's just how good it was.
boring tune? someone's just begging to be crucified!
Boring tune! This calls for
boring until she finds herself whistling it at 15 while being knocked up.
Ugh.
Maybe it's a good thing that I don't know where the fuck Minot of Borehamwood in Herts is because otherwise I'd have to stab her with my pork sword in her face while playing some shitty Basshunter really loudly... yeah that'd learn her...
You can't really get pissed when a small child that has no personal attachment to the device or the game thinks the song is "boring" or that the device sucks.
That'd be like me hating all of you for not knowing the "Tetris Theme" is actually a russian folk song called Korobeiniki.
GODDAMIT YA VIDAYA GAMERS. IT'S NOT THE FUCKING "TETRIS SONG". YOU ONLY KNOW ABOUT IT CAUSE IT'S IN A VIDAYA GAME GAHHH.
Today's children know nothing of their past.
Damn kids.
What Nobodysdream said. I'm shocked so many people know it as "The Tetris song." Disgusted, really.
And I'm not Russian, nor have I ever been to Russia. In fact, only Russian I've met was my dentist when I was 7.
This is pisses me off, since I really love the originol gameboy, but is it really reasonable to expect her to? As a kid, did you go back and watch silent black and white films? Most likely not, despite them being classics and well worth watching, we (read I) ignored them since to me, they were old and boring. As time passed and I matured (slightly) and began to bea able to appreciate the classics of another era. She's only 8, give her a couple of years and she to will be able to appreciate the magic of retro games ^_^
Just reread the post, what I said still holds true for most of it, but nothing can justify insulting the Tetris theme >:(
Arrgh!
*sigh*
I feel old =\
This I can somewhat tolerate. I'll just try think of her as musically inept, kids these days just don't know the classics.
But get a kid who hates on Goldeneye in favor or Halo... well I might have to start advocating corporal punishment.
What a bitch, you should fight her, or challenge her to a duel.
I think we're all getting a bit butthurt about this.
Also fuck her for not liking the Tetris theme.
THIS CALLS FOR HILARIOUS MURDER!
@nobodysdream and spooky electric
Whilst it's true most people aren't aware it's a Russian folk song, calling it boring is still a rapable offence.
And as for it being "disgustingly" known as 'The Tetris Theme', any composition that is better known as something other than the original (through sheer proportions of people that actually played the game) is, I'm afraid to say, justified. Doesn't stop it actually being called Korobeiniki, but it's still the Tetris theme.
Oh and I'm 110% behind Zeke. The (wo)man speaks the truth.
Meh, look Type-A may be a Russian folk song, but Type-C was music written by Bach. Yeah, it was a lame rendition of it, but how do you expect gamers to know that?
