McD's Southern Style Chicken Sandwich is pretty damned good

Okay, it's no secret that McDonald's Southern Style Chicken Sandwich is a direct rip-off of Chick-fil-a's standard sandwich. But, somehow, this is a lighter sandwich. The meat isn't quite as tasty, but it works.

I totally dig the simplicity: steamed buttered bun, juicy chicken, and a pickle. Again, a rip-off, but it's good.

If you can get over the McDonald's hate, I'd give this a try. There's a breakfast version, too.

Too bad they don't have waffle fries.

I hate McDonalds. Hell, I hate fast food. Except for a tiny few that I respect. :)

This is pretty good though and I got it cause I was craving Chick-fil-a and it was Sunday. :( It was ALOT better than I thought it would be, that's for sure.

but what about the breakfast chicken on a biscuit? i haven't had the nerve to try it yet. if it was on a bagel, i'd understand that it could be chicken any time, but chicken on a biscuit doesn't scream breakfast.

Chick-fil-a is still a superior sandwich according to my tastebuds.

McDonald's isn't actually that bad. I just like the original better. Plus, Chick-fil-a's milkshakes are supremely awesome.

I try to avoid fast food any more, but every once in a while I end up at a McD's, Taco Bell or BK in an airport or something. I'll have to give it a try when that happens next. Assuming it doesn't come and go like the McRib.

I hate the McDonalds version. The bread has some sort of magical power that sticks to the top of my mouth whenever I take a bite. The chicken is pretty crappy too.

I finally got to have Chick-Fil-A at the Cinci NARP since we don't have one anywhere near me yet, and the sandwich was amazing. I know the McDonald's one isn't PERFECT but it's close enough for me since I don't have any other options. XD

I have never heard of this Chick-fil-a (that is the most ridiculously sexual name for a restaurant ever). Presumably it is further out of the way for me than any of you who have heard of it.

Personally, Id rather make my own then eat any fast food chain's sandwich. But then again, it's still like fast food considering I'd make it at my grandfather's eatery.

i can't stand fast food myself, just a preference. i'll eat bo~jangles though for some reason. here in boone, north carolina you'll get jipped when going to a fast food place but for $7 you can get a pretty good chicken parmesan w/ 2 chicken breasts, 3 rolls and a fncking killer salad at a place called macodos. great food, beautiful women and sweetwater420 (beer) is what i'm about.
