My only pokemon problem

Pokemon. For me, this anime is top notch( I don’t care what you think). It is just plain fun. Pokemon has been a part of my life since I was a wee lad( go pikuuu!). Since then I have still been mesmerized by the characters, battles and the dream of being a master( yeah, I’m a hard-core poke fan). The games have been a dream come true to me, I get to live life in the realm of pokemon! But with the existace of the Wii ( face it, it isn’t has cheap as some of you might think) developers have the power to add more to the pokemon games. All pokemon games on consoles, including the N64, Gamecube, and Wii, have the player trapped in one area or city. Initially these games were the holy grail of my life( pokemon in 3-D!). But after a while the games got boring to me. Your only in one area! Compared the excellent handheld adventures, all the console games, including Revolution, are extremely limited. My only complaint to Nintendo is this: make a pokemon Wii game that is just like it’s DS counterparts! Exploring places and catching pokemon in the wild is what pokemon is all about. I’m am still waiting to find a rare pokemon in a remote cave somewhere in 3-D! So please Nintendo, here my cry ( I’m tearing up here) and make a pokemon console game worthy of it’s title! I’m sure at least one other person in the world agrees with me. Well *sniff* thanks for reading. *sniff*

P.S
This is not a lie: My parents don’t like me watching, reading, playing or even talking about pokemon! Oh woe is me…

DESTRUCTIOD Review: TimeSplitters 3

I’m sure that you played, or seen, many things that deal with time travel. But throw in a buff(and fairly stupid) main character, wacky situations, and lots of guns…..and you have TimeSplitters3: Future Perfect. TS3 is the last game in a series with the same name. You may have heard of the game’s developer; Free Radical ( the minds behind Haze for PS3). TS3 picks up where the last game left off, with the tough-as-nails time marine, Sargent Cortez.
In order to save humanity from the time splitters
(an evil alien race that can rip through space an time) he must travel through key locations in the past and future to destroy the time crystals that bring forth the splitters, to avoid humanities encounter with the splitters all together. Along the way, Cortez partners up with some colorful characters, including the hippe Harry Tipper and a robot. The graphics are decent and the controls are solid. The story, isn’t epic but it is funny (especially because main man Cortez isn’t one of the sharpest tools in the shed). Also Cortez looks and sounds like Ven Diesel !

With the story done with, next up is the multiplayer and map making modes! Some people say that the real meat (meat…yummy…) of the game comes from these robust game modes. It is fun to pick a character from the loads to choose from, pick one of the many modern and futuristic weapons and have a smack-down online, but it is just as fun to blast your way through time with a friend in story co-op mode.

You can also make your own multiplayer maps and customize your in match arsenal and rules (pure sweetness!!). The game itself has a fair storyline and solid controls and game modes, including some hectic online fun. The game is no Halo but it is definitely worth checking out. You can find TS3 at your local retailer for around $10.00
