What is the free offer limited to? Do I have to get a PS2 game or can I get a 360 game?
I think it just has to be a 100pts. I could be wrong though.
FOSHO
I checked out that deal too, and its pretty fucking sweet. Best thing though? If you find a buddy to sign up, and they use your reference number, as soon as they use their free 100points for their game, YOU also get ANOTHER free 100pts.
I've referenced like two people.
W00T!
THANKS NICK CHEST-HAIR! <3
Yeah, you sign up for Goozex in the month of april and you get 1 trade credit and 100 goozex points. Any game equal to 100 points can be had. I didn't search 360 as my first choice was MGS3 and it turned out to be 100 points. My second choice would have been Saints Row but I never searched for it.
Well, it's not too bad of a deal then. 100 pts seems like shit, but I guess not. Then again, this game goes for like under 10 bucks used. Still, free is free.
You need a credit card to sign up, huh?
@SNAIL
noooo credit card at all!
atleast not for your free game
it costs "1 dollar" to trade a game. that dollar is converted into a "trade point"
But if you sign up within april you get one free trade point and 100 free points.
Its pretty damn badass, honestly.
You'd be suprised how many games they have for 100 points.
There are definately some 100 point 360 games too
@EDS
It goes for $14 used where I am and thats a steep investment for somebody who can survive on $2 worth of food in a day. The version I really wanted, Subsistence, goes for $35-$50 if you can find it.
Its like, newer games cost around 1000 points at most.
And older games (like mgs3) go for 100 points.
OH and Snail, if you sign up, let me know >.<
I'll give you a reference number.
With the reference number deal, once you make your first successful trade (your free game) we would both get ANOTHER bonus 100 points and 1 trade point.
Just puttin that out there =]
Ya know, I should be the one handing out reference numbers but I'll let you have it RAB. I have a large family with lots of gamers and I've been handing out my number like crazy.
sorry bout that Daed
>.>
Nah, really it's cool. I should have posted that reference number around 42 times in the original blog but I forgot, by all means jump right in.
If this will earn someone 100 free points, I'll sign up using your reference number. I'm very curious, but I have to read all the fine print before getting into this.
Would I be better off selling my old PS2 games at Gamestop? It's pretty humiliating to go in there with 20 games and walk out with $15. Where is the better value?
RAB : Snaileb at gmail.com please, I'll attach buttsecks to my email.
@ char
WAY better value.
The LEAST you get for any game is 100 points.
200 points will still get you a sick game, as will 300, etc etc.
just go read the prices on any game. just search any game your interested in, and check the point price
Thanks for mentioning this. I put up my Gold Edition of Marvel Ultimate Alliance... it goes for 950 points (cost me $18 used)!!!!! Plus I put up Prey (450pts... i bought it for $7). Hope this shit works. haha.
As soon as that get's picked up I'll have like 2 or 3 free games coming.
@ revolt
oh yeah man definately your gonna come UP on some major pointage
soon as someone wants those games, you basically have infinate points.
get your points, buy another game with those points, trade it back, SCORE FOR LIFE
WOOHOO!
RAB rocks. Just so you guys know.
@RAB
Seriously. I'm excited for this to work. Says I have 10 turns to go until MUA goes. So hopefully that will be soon.
950 points, if you were to buy them, are almost $40. Best deal ever.
Hey, I'm going to sign up for this today... so whoever wants me to use their reference number, send me an email with it inside.

You know, I have to stop and wonder if this is really worthwhile...obviously the free game is, but I mean in the long run. Between paying to ship your own games out along with the $1 per game charge, it almost seems like it'd cost around to same as buying most of the games used...
Can't say I'm jealous of you at all, I have subsistence, the one with all the extras and the much improved camera.
Bare bones edition just don't cut it anymore, even if it was free.
I NEED you to roll that Crackdown Poster, Put it in a mailing tube, and send it to me ASAP. Your life depends on it...
..really it does.
@yoj1mbo
It's thick like cardstock so it wouldn't roll easily. Even so I'm faily attached to it. More so then my life? Maybe.
lol @ faily attached
Hey thanks for the tip DaedHead. I thought the free games would be limited to crap ones. That and I never had the chance to play MGS 3.
Yeah, my copy of Subsistence crapped out when I was about nine hours in...so I have to find a working copy of it so my save file works. Still, though, awesome.
@lemon
That is strange. Between MGS, MGS2 and MGSTwinSnakes I like twinsnakes the best, but thats because it controls like MGS2. @ really is a great game, barring the kooky story line you should really enjoy it.
