Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Although he's not far off: I built my PC on my own funds working part time, and you know how many games we miss out on.
Could the writer of this blog maybe give a reason why the 360 sucks so bad? And I thought Forza 2 came with the 360.
Lesse...
-RROD, and the plethora of troubles related to it.
-Paid online service (Sure its a good service, but it still costs. No excuse.)
-Not much quality software save FPS games (Even then, FPSs are absolutely better on a PC, period. You will not argue.)
-In direct comparison to the PS3:
---Phailure HD size
---Phailure storage medium
---Phailure processing power
---Phailure exclusives
So... in conclusion, the 360 gets beaten on hardware power, hardware reliability, hardware versatility, software quality, and software variety.
Why exactly do people buy them again?
-I would rather pay for an online service than have the crappy Sony version.
- Oh, you got me there. The PS3 has better games than the 360. Can't argue with that one.
- 120 gb is bigger than the PS3's hard drive to my knowledge.
- I would rather have a good system than an overly complex system that developers can't take advantage of.
- And Sony has top rate exclusibes, right?
Not that I don't want to get a PS3 later on, but for right now, I'll stick to my trusty 360.
no seriously, i think Forza2 can run laps around GT5 ( or at least around the Prologue ) Forza 2 just feels a million times more realistic ( though not realistic at all compared to GTR Evolution ). GT5(P) was quite a dissapointment to me, it was the reason I bought a PS3 but its the other games that keep me hooked to the PS3 :-)
but I have loads of fun on my 360 too, i mean stuff like Lost Oddysey, Gears Of War, Viva Pinata, Halo are brilliant fun!
I don't think one is better then the other, they're just different, so congrats on your buy!
