Who is the DJ? I'm not really a DJ at all to be honest. If you really want to know just ask me...its a long story. I'm a Canadian gamer who reads and writes about video games. I am just as hyped on the industry as I am on playing the games.

What games do I like? I'll try everything and anything twice.

Music is another awesome thing in my life, I've been a part of a lot of fun projects. I'm just learning guitar casually on my own time, but I played drums for about 8 years or so.

Also I work as an compositor (visual effects) in the television and film industry.

Bioshock coming to the iPhone

Yes, you heard correctly. Some game studio called "IG Fun" has started development on this title. The video above isn't footage of the Bioshock game, but this other game they are working on called Re-Volt. I'm sure it will be a similar engine to the one used for the game, since the iPhone probably can't handle anything close to the complexity of the real Bioshock engine.

You can get the whole story here and here's a quick taste:

The real questions are over controls (will the game be intuitive to play on a mobile keypad?) and on whether IG Fun can successfully translate the original's atmosphere to the small screen.

It's way too early to tell that from this demo. But from what I could see, IG Fun is certainly pulling out all the stops. And the iPhone version could be even better.

What do you guys think? Will they totally ruin the Bioshock franchise with this game, or has the sequel already done enough?

Atlas is the character a character(in BioShock). Atlus is a game publisher.

That doesn't look too bad. I bet it'll be better than any other portable FPS.

Well since they watered down the System Shock to fit the console crowd for Bioshock, one can only wonder if the iPhone game will be about as deep as Doom.

Well, it'll suck anyway as pretty much all phone games do. This is as bad as those assholes who decided to make a new Parasite Eve game that is mobile phone only.
