I loved both the single player and MP demos for Red Faction: Guerrilla and plan to pick the game up on the 2nd. However, I thought this was the type of game that would get killed in reviews. However, currently Metacrtic is showing a 90 aggregate from 13 reviews. That's only a few reviews so time will likely drag it down a bit but its still better than I expected. Although the Game Informer review doesn't make sense to me.

In any case, I really hope the game does well mostly because I enjoyed the MP component and naturally online game benefit from a healthy population.

I haven't seen one ad for Guerrilla on TV though so I wonder if apart from websites if there's a big advertising push for the game. I have to say though it's gonna be an expensive couple weeks with this game, Prototype and and last week's Infamous releasing so close to one another.
