Multiplayer demo for Red Faction: Guerrilla coming later this month
D-Nez | 4:22 PM on 05.07.2009 2 comments

In what is info probably no one other than me cares about, there's a Red Faction MP demo coming out later this month. There was a beta some moths ago that many had a meh reaction to and then Volition went back and made some changes. I'm looking forward to playing with other people and blowing up building on top of each other. Hopefully the jetpack makes an appearance.

I had a lot of fun with the single player demo and look forward to the MP demo. Guerilla is looking more and more like a day one purchase for. I'm not expecting great AI or a deep story. I'm just wanting a fun explosive and destructive experience. Looking forward to checking out some of the unique weapons not available in the single player demo. Bringing down buildings on top of your opponents seems like it'll be gravy.

Funny part is as much as I'm looking forward to this game, I don't expect it to sell incredibly well or even be reviewed well. It'll likely score -/+8 and for some reason in gaming 8 is mediocre when as a film score it would actually be pretty good.

i turned on the demo, smashed a bunch of civilians with the hammer and proceeded to dispense justice

I didn't like the time limit on the demo :/ . I wanted to unlock more goodies from weapons locker/chest. I'm hoping it's seriously open-world and not just a series of missions strung together.
