Mario Tennis GC remake headed to Wii* - Finally a reason to turn on the machine

*No word on any release dates outside of Japan

With Mario Tennis being part of Nintendo's 'Play for Wii' titles, I'll finally have a reason to play the damned thing. Althouhg the Play for Wii titles have only been announced for Japan I'll remain hopeful they'll be released outside of Japan - at least Tennis & Pikmin. I just hope it feels more like Wii-Sports tennis. I was disappointed by the Mario Baseball game for the Wii. It didn't feel as smooth and the controls were too sensetive compared to the Wii-sports Baseball counterpart.

After buying the Wii I had major buyers remorse. I mean its a fun system to play with your girl but, to me, beyong that it doesn't hold much appeal. This Fall there's like a dozen titles I want for my PS3 and 360 but can't think of 1 that I want for the Wii. I guess if I had a Wii balance board I'd be interested in the new Raving Rabbids and perhaps the light-saber combat game might be interesting but we all know that a better version with 1:1 controls in on the horizon.

Pikmin and Metroid Prime will be cool with the Wii controls. I don't know about the other games.
