It seems every little morsel of info I hear about Little Big Planet makes the time between now and its October release date seem that much longer.
Truer words have never been spoken.
The biggest reason I played the hell out of Starcraft was because of "Use Map Settings" and the endless supply of interesting, fun and bizarre user created maps people came up with. It was ridiculously robust and yielded amazing replay-ability.
This is the exact kind of game I've been waiting for since those days.
Similar to Gantz here, I played Warcraft II and III almost exclusively to make quirky maps and units, and I played RPG Maker on the Playstation even though it was so cumbersome because I could make totally hilarious and stupid games with it.
XBL could do everything LBP needs atm except importing images. Technically they could but i think they're too concerned about giant wang & flappy vag levels to bend on that.
It'll be interesting to see how many mini-scandals like that arise in LBP & how they're handled.
