90% from Playstation Official Magazine UK. This comes after the previous, suspiciously positive 96% review by Games Master UK. The question must be asked, does this reaffirm your faith in the quality of the game, or does it add even more validity to the rumors of Eidos bribing magazines for 9 and up review scores?

Even without Bribery, How much would this get without the Batman "Flavour of the Month" fandom going around thanks to Heath Ledger killing himself?

Is there really "flavor-of-the-month-ism" around Heath Ledger's death still? And does that even carry over anything that isn't The Dark Knight?

I dunno man. Nerds and Geeks love Batman regardless...

I do myself think that FotM is a harsh way to describe it, as it's been alot more than a Month, and has been a fair amount of time.

It doesn't change that Batman's popularity peaked around that same time, and that alot of it's higher press coverage is a result of that. It's not of the Month, but it's that phenomenon.

I was lucky enough to go to London a couple of weeks ago and play the game and I can confirm that is indeed awesome, maybe not as awesome as Gamesmaster has made it out to be but this a game to get excited about, there's a demo on Friday (I think)so you can make your own mind up then.

What sickens me is the call from insane Ledger fans to get Mark Hamill banned from voicing the Joker in Asylum because "OMG!11 HEATH IS THE ONLY TRUE JOKER!!!!" even though Mark was doing it over a decade before Heath was considered, and making shitty films like Ten Things I Hate About You.

Yeah, that's bullshit. Hamill is the Joker, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I loved Ledger's performance, but when I think of the Joker the voice in my head always hears Hamill.

I agree! I loved the video where Hamill talks about his inspiration for the Joker, and how he freaks people out practicing it. It's an Arkham developer diary, somewhere.

God damn it Eidos. Even if the Batman review-fixing rumor is false, their previous behavior makes it impossible to trust them.

Now I'll have to wait until the game comes out before I can see if the game is any good or not! Grr-baah.
