I'd happily take that bottom one as a PSP2, or even as a Portable PS2.
They can keep that Bendy shit.
Awesome! Yeah, the pictures and demos of the tech alone are so much better than the terrible PR they usually employ.
Gimme all of that!
...Wow. Okay, those I really like.
I wonder how many folds does that new Vaio can take... if it is Paper thin I wonder how many times can you fold it until it starts showing skid marks.
The Walkman bracelet and Vaio are straight sexy. Not sure about that first PSP render, but I would gladly take the second.
I remember seeing the first video of the paper screen tech, glad to see it's actually getting developed into something cool. That bracelet is pretty sexy as well.
CACTUAR!!!!
I don't see how anyone can find those design appealing, but the bottom looks like it could be awesome.
That Vaio and Walkman look amazing though, Sony needs to get those through testing and any other kind of production phases and out to the public!
@DanCiti, yea remember these are still concepts so they will get better. I think Sony is just showing off their muscle before they fully release it so they can get more stock investments now.
Nevertheless this is a superb accomplishment and all other companies will borrow/follow.
You guys should know, OLED technology is very expensive. It will be a long time before it's cost-effective to include it in something like a PSP2.
you mean sitting on my screen won't break it? not that my skinny ass could but...
hmmm even if it wouldnt break, I don't think I would sit on that Vaio laptop.. erm... paper pc, w/e u call it!
I heard about this tech about 12 years ago, and I wondered why I hadn't seen it come to fruition anywhere. Practical application must've been the problem. considering that vaio, where is the computer, all I see is a screen. it would have to be more like a vaio portable multimedia device rather than a computer. I heard it was from a place called Cray computers or something.
