So by Jim's latest post on Microsoft basicly saying "Hey, its not our fault, its yours. We warned you!" You think this is fair? I know there are people who never moved their console at all, and still got the discs scratched, but lets put that aside. Lets say only people who actually moved, touched or took a hard yawn and moved the console making it scratch, does that mean people that do play with a wired controller are at fault? Wow, how many Rockband/Guitar Hero must be at fault for this...
When you play, you move, and set some motion in the room that can shake the xbox a bit. What is going to happen when Microsoft releases the motion sensored controllers? all gamers are going to be shaking it up and down, right? so this will make them their fault the 360 scratched the discs?
I just don't think its right that Microsoft puts the blame on the gamers for getting the disc scratched and do nothing about it. Well let me take that back, yes they will help you fix them, for a fee. I have been hearing about this problems since day 1 (2006), I believe this issue is well over 1% of xbox owners and something should be done on their side to give people a warranty to fix this issue (they least they could do, just like the RROD).

There is a chance I'm wrong though.
Oh no you dit-int!
I have moved my PS3 a few times while it was on, mostly just turning it left/right and everything has been A-ok.
