Rumors just kicked in my email from my long lost mmo friend from Taiwan that the PS3's ingame XMB might be coming 1-2 days before the worldwide release of MGS4. Supposedly MGS4 is going to come with some special features that will show not just in game XMB, but other features which my friend he is not 100% sure, but said that you can have total control of your music while your playing games, if you(n friends) have the eye toy, you can place your or your friends on the sideline while playing the game, so you can see them curse at u or jerk off while your playing echocrome. Enhanced inside game messaging, file sharing, and rumored ps3 achievements (which I dont like actually) Allot of those features I expected them to be released when home hits our console, but he said that some of those features might come in with the 2.40 update.

Also another source that made me make this post came from a EA employee: "I can confirm this, but there is more then just in-game XMB coming in 2.40." So there you have it folks. I actually wished they would have done this a bit earlier than just 2 days after the MGS4 release, you know, to be able to fix any possible bugs (which im sure there are going to be, it is the biggest update ever) and not mess the gameplay of this year most anticipated game.

Honestly I can't wait for this update. (and mgs4, just couple of days away!)
