Allot more ingame content and actual fight scenes and weird flying things!!! + a beer pub hangout place. A Galka molesting a female Lalafel and allot more! There is allot of character expressions on this new trailer and if you listen to the battle music, it sounds very very old school!
+ Old Enemies like Malboro showing in pure HD Glory and a weird flying machine that I am not sure if its a summon avatar or a actual ship. All I can say it looks FRIGGIN SWEET!!!!! The video is in japanese so I have no clue what it means, ill leave this to the Dtoid team to translate :D

they are. The combat system is totally unique. Just to give you an idea there is no auto-attack. There is different ways of attacking, not just your normal attacks. There is allot of disclosed info on this which I have posted in previous blogs.
I can't wait. I tend to forget about it since I'm in the midst of playing all of the Phoenix Wrights, but I'm definitely going to play. Looks damn amazing.
I haven't really been as obsessively seeking FFXIV info, nor have I posted on Dtoid in a while but I saw the trailer after the NA version was up and damn does it look sexy.
I personally like the new hair styles/facial options that can be seen. The Roegadyn flirting with the poor little Lalafell looks badass. I want that hair-do.
I'm also loving the level of detail on all the armor and such. Sure most of it is CG, but it looks like the final product in-game graphics are going to be extremely detailed, too, which I like. I also am pretty sure I heard that there will be things in place to differentiate between armor of the same type so not everyone looks like clones. Perhaps dyes as in Guild Wars?
What I'd like to see is Weavers/Blacksmiths be able to use different colored thread/ore/dye, whatever materials, when making armor in order to create uniquely colored pieces from armor at the very beginning. That way, if person has red silk, and another has blue silk, and they both are Weavers creating a robe; one robe will be blue, and the other red, but still have the same stats etc.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
