yep, another blog, I better watch my back, I feel a dragon about to snipe me down! well while I can still hide here in the corner im safe, I think this is a useless blog yet it keeps some importancy to this game IP which I am sure many of you would agree with (or diss-agree).
I think Nintendo should give Metroid its fair treatment it deserves. Couple of reasons:
1. Metroid is not a casual game
2. Metroid is not a kids game
3. Metroid is violent and bad language
4. Metroid deserves PS360's graphics
5. Metroid is suffering under the Wii's motto
6. Metroid deserves a real controller
7. Metroid needs a complete make-over, not a follow up sequel
8. Metroid Prime did an average "ok" on the Wii
9. Metroid needs realistic boobs which cannot be done on the Wii.
10. Metroid needs realistic boobs which cannot be done on the Wii.
Sorry for the last 2, but you know it cannot be helped and it can happen only on the PS360. very nicely... jiggling... bouncing... rotatin... ahurm... yes, Metroid deserves better graphics, dynamics, Ai, as it is a loved old school game and I don't think it will happen on the Wii, no matter how hard Nintendo tries, they wont take it to the extreme where it deserves to dwelve into.
When your Laser beam is killing monsters it needs to have that Gears of War-monster death style with blood covering your body armor and visor goggles or how about thousands of monsters coming at you from a entire planet like Heavenly Sword. Metroid deserves so much that it makes me cry it cannot. Whatever Nintendo pumps out will stay gimped and suffering the limitations of the Wii with a poor story line because it cannot take it to the extreme like God of War or Gears of War violent storyline.
I think Nintendo should lent such a good franchise to a 3rd company to release it on all 3 consoles for the good of the IP. Even a spin off!
Call it Metro-ID or something, see what I did there? a good futusitic bounty hunter game should come out to take what metroid is lacking. I apologize for this useless rant of a blog, but you must agree that the Wii is holding up this type of game go to the next level.

either way, if you guys fail to see samu's on a environment like heavenly sword with Gears of War/God of War type of monsters with good gameplay, physics, graphics. Then you guys are just delusional. Sorry for the assumption.
But saying stuff like this is like saying:
"MGS5 looks just fine on the Wii, it doesn't need any of that, it was never about that, is all about the sneak/hiding thing."
If you believe this, then you are wrong.
As for this blog, I agree with Justice. I don't think you actually like the Metroid Franchise. Metroid is about isolation (although Fusion, Hunters, and Prime 3 went away from this a bit). It's never been about overtly flashy kills. Atmosphere is the name of the game in this franchise (and also shooting, jumping, power-ups, massive bosses).

I could care less if they dump Metroid for 10 years or so: there are enough good Metroid games out there, guys. Give me something original like Pikmin, Nintendo! Kid Icarus Wii! Anything, really. I'm glad the creator of Star Fox is helping to put the kibosh on that series as well: more original IPs, please.

Now this is probably a joke blog but even if you where serious, your last 2 points kill all your credibility especially when you consider that Metroid has never been Samus perse, more about the exploration, its only recently that Nintendo has over sexualize the character for the millions of ronery faggots out there.
Plus, she isn't that sexualized in actual gameplay anyway. Obviously the Power Suit covers her up and the Zero Suit is actually the most conservative outfit she's ever worn next to the Power Suit. It's the internet that has truly sexualized the character.

And it being hailed as the game that proved that first person can be done with the Wii remote, and not suck balls means what? And the overwhelming impression many people got that the game deserved more of Nintendo's advertising budget, especially compared to previous metroid games...
I could go on, but clearly you just don't like what metroid is actually about, and just want a different game. If you want Gear of War style deaths, and Heavenly Sword style overwhelming, play those games. Metroid has never been about gore, or even killing. Really, all you're asking for is a Dante's Inferno-fication of the Metroid franchise, which would instantly kill any and all traces of what makes Metroid Metroid. If you want something different, why would you want it to ruin a franchise in the process. Nintendo (or any other developer for that matter) can make the game you want without the Metroid name.
PS: Boobs? Seriously? Completely ignoring the fact that a huge metal suit of armor covers them, so jiggling would be quite out of place... your humor couldn't even have been a little more thought out? Come on. What about the classic rip about how Samus must be quite flexible to fit into that ball of hers. Even that's a little more creative that "Boobs... ahurm"

Of course I don't know about metroid! killing gazillions of monsters on up until mother brain on Nintendo was such a easy feat and then playing through the whole super metroid to defeat all the cool bosses + getting all the power suit upgrades + Dyno-motherbrain after lil metroid saved my ass I wouldn't know about metroid. Metroid Prime, I couldn't really get into it, don't know why, looked shitty in every way to me. voice over, effects, gameplay, monsters, everything, so I just watched my little bro play as I sat and watched occasionally.
Yes some of you might have a good point, specially about my blog, they always suck, this I give you, but My main point is (if you take out all the crappy puns out) that Metroid would be 10 times better done on the xbox or the ps3 that on the Wii. Fine it doesn't "need" GoWx2 gloryful death nor big scenarios like HS, but you can't be for real saying that if you were to put the same game on both systems be the same.
Now of course... If you are a Nin-fanboy, then I understand.
about the boobs, well no crap with armor u cant see it! but how about a nice ending with the armor off or a in-game cheat code to play without the armor... Then what? not like Samu's has ever been shown without armor...

Well, since your serious, just wait a few years for the Wii 2 Metroid to come out. Problem solved.
It's all about the mechanics and gameplay to me. Through out the series I've not really noticed or found the graphics all too impressive from the original to the Prime games, just standard, but at the same time I've never really seen the need for any improvements since they're not terrible either.
I think a lot of people would agree that graphics have never been the main priority of these games, it's the mechanics and gadgets you use in the game which make it so fun and enjoyable. Especially the fuckin' Morph ball, shit's awesome.
Proportion is everything. Curves should kinda match up.. Kinda. Itty bitty waist, needs everything in proportion.
RIFTER01: I love the Brawl Samus too. She is my favorite 3D model thus far. Hopefully the Other M model can at least match it.
The casual thing might be right, but as long as it's fun then i just don't mind.
