Just a guy who loves to talk video games a lot. I try to be funny and fail a lot, but I swear I'm worth having around.

I'm an older gamer (read:30) and I like to look back on all the good (and bad) that I played through in the before time.

I don't game as much thanks to my 2yr old daughter, but I do keep up on the latest things. As far as she's concerned, well she likes to hit the buttons a lot, which means she could win a few rounds of DOA.

Three new Xbox Originals go up for download Feb 11th

The three new ones are:

Ninja Gaiden Black

On the upside at least they didn't go with the original like they did with Fable. This is a good thing. I have Sigma however, so I'll have to pass.

Sid Meier's Pirates!

God how I love this game. I do have it on Gametap though, so I'm on the fence.

Never got a chance to play this as I was already near FPSed out. Anyone got good things to say on it? I remember hearing destructible enviroments.

black was good for its time, its still ok if your looking for a walk in and blow everything the fuck up type of game, definately light on the strategy.

I rented Black the day I bought my surround sound system.

I think that I might just scoop up NG:B since it's actually more affordable to buy it via marketplace than a store.

Anyone else think that NGB will hurt sales on PS3? I mean they still charge $60 for it retail.

Black was really fun.

If it's backwards compatible just pick up a used copy for $5.

Where's an official story about this? I haven't seen anything on xbox.com about it or at any sites like IGN or 1UP.

@Technophile: This is true. IGN is already running a story and if you go to the XBox Originals in the marketplace NGB is up there but currently blacked out until the 11th.

Yes, NGB is entirely worth buying. NGB isn't just some lame wanna-be expansion pack with a handful of new features. There's tons of new content that makes NGB worth playing. Go check out some reviews of NG Black at places like IGN. They can sum it up better than I can. I bought the original NG and then bought NG Black when it first came out and cost twice what it'll be on XBL and I love NGB. I thought it was by far the best game of last generation.

Last time I check @ gamestop (which was yesterday) NGB, just used is $25. So for once, the Xbox Original is a good deal to buy NGB. I know I am! ;)

they updated all the visuals in HD for sigma including textures and added a ton more bonus content than black (new chars and weapons), they are hardly the same game
