Just a guy who loves to talk video games a lot. I try to be funny and fail a lot, but I swear I'm worth having around.

I'm an older gamer (read:30) and I like to look back on all the good (and bad) that I played through in the before time.

I don't game as much thanks to my 2yr old daughter, but I do keep up on the latest things. As far as she's concerned, well she likes to hit the buttons a lot, which means she could win a few rounds of DOA.

Gamestop says Contra 4 will have NES Contra and Super C in it?

A thread over at Neogaf is saying that in the Gamestop Coming Soon binder, the product info for Contra 4 for the DS lists unlockable NES versions of its predecessors. Oh please let it be true......

Must buy.....muuuuust buy.

EDIT: I'm going at lunch to get Blue Dragon. I'll take a looksee in the binder myself.

That would be awesome, so if you'd buy Contra 4 and then Contra 3 on the Virtual Console you'd have all the good Contra games. Actually anyone know if Contra: Hard Corps on MegaDrive/Genesis is any good?

That would be tight, but I honestly wish they would just release Contra for VC so I can play it in large-screen low-res glory.

But yeah, Contra 4 looks like its going to be a must have.

Contra Hard Corps was fantastic! Although, if you play the little robot guy "Brownie" and get the blue laser beam thingy, you're UNSTOBBABULL!

Oh man, the O.G. Contra and Super C? Hell yeah. I still play these games on NES and I'm still trying to beat Contra without dying.

Hard Corps is the shit! You can play as a werewolf or a fucking robot (and a boy or girl) and all the characters get different weapons, and beyond that the storyline branches so it's got tons of replay value. Absolutely worth finding.
