Just a guy who loves to talk video games a lot. I try to be funny and fail a lot, but I swear I'm worth having around.

I'm an older gamer (read:30) and I like to look back on all the good (and bad) that I played through in the before time.

I don't game as much thanks to my 2yr old daughter, but I do keep up on the latest things. As far as she's concerned, well she likes to hit the buttons a lot, which means she could win a few rounds of DOA.

Yep. It's official. And while you can easily shrug off not paying the 2.99 to try Naruto, it does prove that Sony is going to go through with what they said and put demos (and of course the earlier SOCOM beta) behind Qore's subscription.

So yeah. Still on the fence about the whole Qore thing. I may buy and review next month's just for the fun of it, but it doesn't mean I'm gonna like it.

I, personally, dont mind the premium service. It's a far less intrusive option that Xbox live and it has incentive to actually subscribe.

Without Qore you can still play online and access all of the PSN, but with Live you have to have a subscription. Qore is just a premium service and I don't think it should be frowned upon.

I still don't quite understand what this thing is. Is it like some of the features on 360? Is Nintendo going to do this with NOM? It all seems weird...

I see what they're doing. Trying to create a premium service by delaying demos and content on PSN like MS did with some XBL stuff for diffentiating Gold from Silver. As it looks now, I don't see myself paying for it. I could care less about a Naruto Demo or even SOCOM. I imagine at some point they will make it worth my while and money.

I do wonder if we're going to see Qore "servers" or increased QOS if you are a Qore member on Sony Servers for their games. At that point, they might as well start charging like MS does.
