The Power of PAX Compells You

Well as you all know I am so very excellent at all this so I am totally not completely forgetting what all I was gonna say so maybe if I just post the pic with some of my shwag my mind will untangle itself enough for me to actually write.

Contained here in are:
-Legendary comic, I don't know why but I always enjoy these "prequel grahpic novel" things.
-Mushroom Men novel type thing. I say this because it isn't really a comic but it isn't a novel. It has a lot of text but illustrations at the top of the page. There are trading card like things in the front and back, odd.
-The PAX guide. Otherwise known as the All-Powerful-Map-Which-Never-Gets-Me-Friggen-Lost. Yeah, it's not as helpful outside the convention as one might think.
-My badge complete with Max, Strong Bad, and DTS(which stands for Distributed Trade System) buttons. Those things are freakin Star Chips, I wanted to ask someone for a glove to hold them in.
-Mirror's Edge comic, see above.
-A Pirate arm band from something other than Burning Sea
-One of those wrist bands from the 90's that you slapped on your wrist that says "Aion"
-The Vault Dweller's Survival Guide (which is hilarious and sadly the only piece of Fallout shwag I could obtain)
-There are actually three Dead Space posters there but I thought that one was the coolest so I put it on top for the picture
-The one remaining glove that I picked up from the Namco Bandai booth at random on Friday, before heading into the Expo Hall I saw Hamza and Niero and they gave me a Dtoid sticker, that night while watching Rock Band 2 freeplay I got the idea to make a Dtoid glove. It is my gauntlet of power. Macca has the left one, it's like the Wonder Twins or something.
-A King figure from the Premium Heroes SNK Beach Vollyball set, picked this up at Pink Godzilla on our way out of town Monday.
-A 1UP Network badge in which they totally screwed up my name, I am going to fix it so it promotes Dtoid instead :P
-A Tomopop sticker, one of the coolest I recieved along with the Dtoid one.
-So if you carried around this "passport" and got the people who were running the demos of EA games to stamp their respected areas and bring it back to the main booth you got a t-shirt. I had to wait a long ass time to play Mirror's Edge, and that was Sunday too, I love me some t-shirts but that is way too much work considering. Over a dozen games EA had some hand in producing spread out all over the expo floor. Har har EA, it's called a passport because you have to walk all around and stand in a bunch of lines. Har har. >.<
-Finally is a Resistance 2 bag, a big shiny action scene on one side and a big red star logo on the other.

I got a Little Big Planet bag, tons of stickers and posters, more lanyards, and a ton of other stuff that just isn't pictured.

Now for the hard part I suppose. First I wanna thank Crichton, King, Toneman and all the PDX Dtoiders for picking me up and letting me tag along with them, and a big thanks to Coon for letting me stay with him and the others. There was never a dull moment in that room, which we trashed.

I love all you guys and feel like I actually have a place where I fit in, it might just be a website filled with nerds but it's home to me. Tactix, mid3vol, Toneman, king3vbo, LostCrichton, Cutie Honey, Macca, Necros, CountingConflict, Coonskin05 you guys especially feel like family to me, but that is not to say that I don't feel the same way about everyone I met over the past weekend. Nintendoll, Conrad, blehman, naia, even Chad I have to come visit you guys and as for Wardrox this better not be the last time we hang out. Don't make me come over there lol Colette was such a sweetheart, I really wish I could have spent more time with Rio. Knives and Liz were cool just to be around, Hamza and Niero were always happy to stop what they were doing to chat, Niero was apparently just as nervous as I was about meeting everyone... I could probably babble on for another hour or two about everyone but I will stop it at this.

Thank you Niero for creating this place and pulling together some of the coolest people I have ever met. With the goodbyes and the post-PAX blogs it has been pretty hard not to start bawling and I would be lieing to you all if I said I wasn't trying not to do the same right now and completely failing at it. It was an absolute joy meeting everyone I did find and to those of you who I didn't at least meet I will find you xP

I love you all so much. Thanks for being so fucking amazing. (Sorry for the wall of text by the way, I will have pictures up as soon as possible.)

Dtoid for life! <3~

Crooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooc

at some point I lost track of everyone that was going to PAX and I was really surprised and glad that you were there.

I think we didn't get to hang out that much, but the time we did was great, I'll see you constantly on IRC but I still hope to see you sooner than next year.

Thats some pretty sweet shwag you got there.

Having read this and several other PAX articles its wonderful to see that the community come together so seamlessly. Hopefully I'll be in that number when PAX 09 rolls around.

It was great to meet you, dude...that glove you had on was awesome! By the way, I totally agree on that Vault Dweller's Survival Guide...it's pretty damn cool. And as for the usefulness of the PAX Guide outside of PAX, well...at the very least, the artwork on the cover rocks!

Next year for sure, IRC ftw~
I was writing random short story stuff in the bar, you could win a few pieces as soon as I come up with a way people will actually participate in.
How could I forget the rape song? I think it's up there with the Spam song x3
I will definitely make it over from wherever I end up next year, I am sure the Elephant and Castle would LOVE to see us back xD what makes you think I don't like your real name? lol

And finally, yes. Yes I am. XDD thanks for all the comments guys I miss you so much already <3
