About Me
Greetings ladies and mostly gentlemen.
Crakie Racooon here saying thank you for visiting my profile page!
There isn't anything to extravagant about me...Ok maybe I'm just fucking amazing
and awesome, but besides that, here is a little info about me : )

I am currently a senior attending the University of Advancing Technology majoring
in Game Design and alongside with thousands of other hopefuls of this degree, I am
currently looking for a job.(Not fun considering anyone can call themselves a game developer
now of days)

I do plan to visit dtoid a lot now of days as a place for me to bitch about my gaming pet peeves
and to communicate with other dtoiders about bull shit. I've been here since 2006,but I haven't
really posted or blogged here all that much, and if I did, it was something retarted.

But it's great to come back again and I hope to meet some pretty cool people here.

P.S: Regardless of my name,I am sometimes confused to be male, but I am a chick to throw
that out there. But it really shouldn't change your opinions about me or anything I post.

What I'm playing
360: Ghostbusters
PS3: Uncharted (one of my favs)
PC: The Sims 2

The greatest games ever created by man

The Legend of Zelda(All of them!)
Resident Evil(All of them but Dead Aim, I actually like Survivor)
Oddworld Series
Grand Theft Auto Series
Silent Hill(except 4)

My consoles( I'm hella broke,so half of this shit is my roomies)

Wii
PS2
DS
360( my roomies)
PS3( my roomies,I know,I don't even own a fucking 360)

Why are Asian's just awesome?
CrakieRacooon | 1:09 PM on 02.28.2008 15 comments

So, I just achieve at switching between Expert and Hard mode on the drums on Rock Band. For me, I think it's an awesome fucking achievement, I've been playing for a while now, and I thought that I would never make it!
So, my roomie , this hella hardcore asian gamer, decides to come over and play with me. He chooses to do Enter the Sandman on expert with the guitar and I do it on hard.
So I fail, of course since I never tried it on Hard and we switch. Now quote, this is his second time EVER on the drums, puts in on Expert, and gets a fucking 95%!
Now being a chick, I can get away physically beating the crap out of him afterwards, but it's not fair?
Eventually I do become awesome, but not in a fucking instant. Why is it every Asian that I meet, they just adapt to a game as if they gave birth to it like a newborn a second they play it?

Maybe he used to play Drummania, welcome to the Cblogs. If you've been here for a while then you know the drill, don't suck and everything will be fine.

Also, cats FTW!

I'm one of those Asians (I'm guessing you mean oriental rather than Indian... it gets so damn confusing down here) and yes I must say we have a natural ability to pick up and be pretty good with games. Must be in our genes which makes up for our low alcohol tolerance...although it does mean we save more money on a night out though :D

It also depends on the game.. I'm not that good at guitar hero (don't know about Rock Band as it's not out in the UK yet grrrr!) but my brother is and he has a much higher drinking threshold than me.....damn him

They're not THAT good. My sun-fearing caucasian friend was playing Drummania/Guitarfreaks at a location test AND it was internationally connected to arcades all around Asia, but he was smoking all of them like nothing.

Plus, I'm half asian and I still suck at anything that isn't an RPG or River City Ransom.

Now asians and MMOs on the other hand...........

If you're looking for a scientific explanation, try reading up on the difference between slow- and fast-twitch muscle fibers, and who tends to have what.

The short story is that, out of the people with the greatest natural aptitude for quick-reflex gaming, a disproportionate number will be asian. But not all asians have this natural advantage.

I'm Filipino. I can cook, dance, and play games.

Unfortunately, I cannot build railroads or pick up white chicks.
