I to the GN (you know the other corporate site that isn't in trouble) has some new Wii Fit videos up from the Japanese version. I'm sure I'm not the only one at least slightly interested in this but from these videos it looks like the stand is a bit more mini-game oriented than I though it was going to be. Which isn't dissapointing but leaves me wondering how "fit" one could actually get using this. I presonelly want it to work almost like a personnel trainer but if its just going to throw a bunch of games at me that have something to do with moving my legs I think I'll lose interest pretty quickly. The stretching and Yoga part looks pretty interesting, especially since I have a bad back and balance excercises are something I'm supposed to be doing. I'd make fun of the guy trying to touch his toes in the video but I've never been able to do it either.

I'm pretty sure this will be the next big seller out there for the Wii and I know your going to see it in gyms (I've got money on a month after release for when you'll see the new story, anybody else?). Soon we'll have a bunch of soccer moms in Wii Fit classes, following a "Wii expert." Ready, and hed that ball. OK! Now, we're gonna ski, get ready ladies and one and two." I've got visions in my head of actually getting back in some sort of shape with it but I feel like those probably are far fetched from these videos, still standing up in general every once in a while seems like a good idea. I think I'll try it now...OH God, I've fallen and I can't get up. Where is Wii Emergency Rescue when you need it.
