I had to weigh that against being able to message my friends while playing, having Achievements, having a more comfortable controller... it still came out Wii just because of the D-pad. ARE YOU LISTENING, MICROSOFT?
(# 1) on 09/23/2008 14:35
I'm too clever.
(# 2) on 09/23/2008 14:41
And that's from the guy that *hasn't* clearly gone insane from Mega Man Fandom, like every other Mega Man fan on this site.
Seriously, SantanClaus flipped out, Michiyo's gone all sentimental and I'm biting controllers. What's going on!?!?!?
@cowzilla
Agreed. If you're not getting handcramps you're doing it wrong!
(# 3) on 09/23/2008 14:45
unfortunately i'm not all that confident that the new 360 d-pad will be all that great. it looks like they are continuing to use the d-blob regardless of how they redesign the internal parts, and i just don't like that thing.

Oh ya, I agree, the 360's dpad is garbage. That's the reason why I bought it on the Wii as well.
(# 6) on 09/23/2008 14:48
But if i had to pick between Wii and 360 i would definately go Wii because of the 360's shit D-pad

Basically what Zulu said.
Of course I don't have 360 or PS3, giving me little options.

For now I'll be waiting for the PS3 version. I will admit that the thought of playing this on the XBOX30 is just a painful one. Why would you ever purchase the XBLA version if you own a PS3 or Wii?

To be honest I think I'll get it for the 360 as well.

A thrown (and broken) Wiimote is cheaper to replace than a sixaxis or 360 gamepad
The Wii also uses less electrical power than the 360 or PS3. Seeing as how most people will fail (and retry) over and over and over again, go green and play the Wii version
The Wiimote is easier to bite. It's elongated shape is made for fellating; remember Shiggy practically deep throating one (Wii Music) at E3? If you can fit a 360 or Sixaxis in your mouth, wtf are you doing here? You should be in porn!
(# 18) on 09/23/2008 16:28
Also, retro is overrated. I'll play this game with the analog stick ... bite me. :D

I'm getting it on PS3. I need something to play on it other than my Blu-Ray copy of Batman Begins.

Analog is the future. Get with it or fucking bow down, you low tech dogs.
...
I still need a Wii.
(# 27) on 09/23/2008 18:51
It's like using a steering wheel to play Pac-Man.
(# 28) on 09/23/2008 19:09
Don't forget having to redo the Wii's wireless settings because you dared to tinker with your router since the last time you used your Wii, because god forbid the console actually allows for a wired connection...
@dexter345:
That... sounds like something worth trying. :)
(# 29) on 09/23/2008 20:08
I have tried to play Mega Man 1 & 2 with a analog stick and it really isn't as precise or accurate to me at least. When I am using the d-pad I feel like I have control of Mega Man. Same with Pac-Man.

(# 34) on 09/23/2008 21:48
I'll probably be PS3'ing it though, just so I don't have to delete stuff on my Wii.
