I would like to thank you all for electing me Overlord of the Internet for 07-08. It is a great honor to be named so, especially by such an amazing website. Now this will truly be a great year. And let us not forget my opponent, Norton Fighter, he ran a good, clean race and he should be respected for kicking that nasty drug habit.

Friends, Destructoidians, Countrymen, lend me your computer screens for I would like to tell you what my ambition can do. I promise to defend your rights. I promise to defend gaybears right to be gay and a total bitch to JACK, and I support Butmac's decision to pile on. I promise you that your right to post completely hilarious videos will not be fettered. I promise that I will support the arts for they can lead us to amazing places. Your right to gather and game will always be number one under my rule. And I promise that you may discuss all subjects even if they do not relate to gaming as long as you do not suck.

This brings me to you, my good constituents. I ask that you not ask what your website can do for you, but what you can do for your website. And so I say to you, continue writing your interesting top ten lists. Go forward in presenting odd games, in presenting new (or old) fashions, in asking the truly tough questions. But please stop posting things over and over unless you have a good Photoshop. Most importantly though keep voicing your opinion on games. For it is you who have the strongest voice and it is you who can inform your fellow gamer.
