Me, I'm 30. Been gaming since 84/85. I'd consider myself hardcore, with a vast amount of knowledge of games and the industry. Also an artist, a big football (I mean soccer), anime and manga fan.

Hardcoreness! I have a large selection of games. I own GB, GBA, Snes, MD, Saturn, N64, DC, PS1, PS2, GC, Xbox, 360, GP32, DS and PSP. (breathe, now breathe)

Fave games I own and love: Snes: Actraiser, Castlevania IV, U.N Squadron, Assault Suits Valken (aka Cybernator), Desert Fighter, Chrono Trigger, PS1: SF Alpha 2, Parasite Eve, Persona 2, N64: Zelda LoT, Mario Kart, Goldeneye, GBA: Fire Emblem, Advance Wars 1 and 2, Yggdra Union, Riviera TPL, SFA3, Gekido, DS:Ouendan 1 and 2, EBA, Trauma Center, FFIII, Eyeshield 21 (jp), PS2: DMC, Burnout 3 and 4, RE series (especially 4) and MGS series, GRAW 1 and 2, Gears of War, Command and Conquer.

I one day hope to have enough games to make an archive of gaming goodness for my later years. If this industry ever goes belly up, I want the best of it in my posession. The collection keeps building and the fun continues.

I frequently visit 1up.com, as well as mighty Destructoid, and thing only thing that pisses me off about their website is the Gamevideos service. Good video shows and clips shown in tiny boxes. Come on 1up, while Game Videos are okay but their service leaves a lot to be desired next to Gametrailers.

Gametrailers design is more appealing and less confusing to use, compared to Gamevideos yellow n black mess too. So I'll throw it open to you guys, which do you prefer to use when new trailers are out?

I use them both, but from an editor's perspective, Gametrailers makes it easier to embed videos. I sometimes have issues with GV loading up correctly.

They still have some cool stuff to look at, so I hope they iron out those gremlins soon. Both groups are very good about sending us their latest stuff when it hits the net (thanks, guys!).

I use and love both, but GameTrailers wins by a nose. Mostly for GT TV, which isn't a bad show... sometimes the 1up Show can feel a little too scripted (did I say a little?) and self serving... Plus the Bonus Round is a great show.

BTW, I really like GameVideoes layout...

GameTrailers is one of the most stable and fast flash video players out there today IMO, but the Destructoid one is faster, based on the preview we got.

Gametrailers for the better player and the option to choose which format you want to stream video in. GV gets points for Broken Pixels though.

Gametrailers, no doubt about it. Not to mention that their reviews are pretty good too.

I like Gametrailers on THEIR site and Gamevideos embedded on other sites.

GT always seems to not load when embedded on a different site and GV videos are tiny on their own site.

Gametrailers has got my vote! They've got really good original shows on there, some of the best screw-attack vids and pretty good video reviews coupled together with a decent layout seals the deal for me.

I too dig Gametrailers. Their whole site is a god send for checking new stuff. Gametrailers TV started recently and is pretty good, loads quickly. Loved their exclusive on Tiberium first episode.

I have found Game Videos to be okayish, but their bandwidth for downloads really need an upgrade. Takes freaking ages to download the latest 1up show episode, and I have a 20mb line.

does game videos have hd stuff? cos that shit is mindblowing the first time i saw it. in fact u know wat there needs to be more hd youtube-style sites. i mean theres vimeo. but wat else?
