Hexic 2 came out, and it's ten bucks. I bought my hard drive used, so I can't play Hexic 1, and I'm curious. Unfortunately, I'm kind of torn whether to buy it or not, so help me out here. Here's a review of the demo to help you help me.

First of all, I know it's not the best thing since sliced bread. I've heard it's kind of boring if you're not a hardcore puzzle freak, but since I'm a hardcore puzzle freak, that doesn't matter. I think they (Read: Reviews, personal friends) cited background music as being boring, but oh well.



There's also the fact that it looks like AIDS ate Gonorrhea. The old one was simplistic and shiny, and this one has that "futuristic" look. Looks like a downgrade to me.



Here's the kicker: Multiplayer. The reason I still want to buy is is that it's supposed to be bone-crushingly hard (It has FOUR FUCKING ATTACK METERS), which is always a plus. Not many people share my hardcore puzzle love, but the ones that do will probably beat my ass on Xbox Live.



So, what do you think? Should I buy it for a challenge? Or should I close the pool?
