HEY YOU GUYS


Hey, long-time reader, first time blogger and all that, I thought it prudent to post a quick introductory thing first, I know noone reads these, just fun to type while I wait for my sammich on the grill.

Er, a quick run down of me, as a gamer, at least; I wuv shooters, I can stomach down your odd RPG, but I can't bring myself to sit down and play a JPRG, I've tried it a couple of times and god-damn... ugh. Anyways.

I'll usually give everything a go at least once, with the exception of JRPGs. I'm a poor student, so I'm pretty much only confined to console gaming, inb4 'lol u can pirate stuf on pc uno'. :/

I've been around the e-sports thing, entering the Australian WCG2005 UT2k4 FFA, Halo 2 2v2s, placing in the top 5. Which got me to nationals for both events, recently entered WCG 2008 Halo 3 4v4 regionals, etc. I can be very competitive, but I'll never take a game too seriously, i.e. red rage face, cursing deities, etc.

I am an aspiring graphic artist, I should be starting university next year, I'd love to get some position in the game industry, however, the games scene in Australia is somewhat lacking ;_;
