I Now Know How To Give You A Dreamcast CONTEST
Conrad Zimmerman | 7:35 AM on 06.30.2008 9 comments

This post is almost a week late and I'm sorry for that. A couple of weeks ago, I started a contest in the blogs where entrants had to give me an idea for another contest. I was absolutely thrilled by the reception it recieved and there were well over fifty entries. A lot of good ones came through that made it really difficult to choose between them, but I've finally managed to come to a decision. The winning entry is:

That's right! The first Dtoider to suck Hamza "CTZ" Aziz's dick will win a Dreamcast and a special bonus prize from Hamza!

I kid. This is the real winning entry:

I had a lot of fun with the Darious Pickman character, and now I want some more. Give me your take on my private eye. Draw a comic, make a shoop, write me a story. The Dtoider that entertains me the most with their entry will score themselves a Dreamcast. If you don't know who Darious Pickman is or want to get a feel for him, you can learn a little bit about him by reading my F*** You DVDDesign series (Darious shows up first in Day 19)

How to Enter:
Make a comment with your entry into the comments of this post, or one of the reminder posts which will follow later in the week. If you are using a large image that won't fit comfortably in the comments, I'd urge you to use a smaller one and provide a link to a hi-res version.

Rules:

- Feel free to enter as many times as you like, though it probably won't increase your odds of winning
- Open to US residents in the contiguous 48 states only (unless you are willing to pitch in for shipping)
- Entries must be recieved before the CBlog recap goes live on July 7th (typically Midnight, Eastern time)
- The prize is a Dreamcast console with cables
- Winner will be announced Wednesday, July 9th (promise).

Congratulations to Spartacus! Contact me in a PM to arrange for your prize.

Yeah, you got me too... plus I knew what Hamza's "special prize" was going to be if we actually had to do that [LOL].

But I can totally win this. For the sake of your personal amusement, I know exactly what I want to do.

Hopefully I'll remember to do it this week...

Comments policy

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

 about me

I write for Destructoid, primarily reviews and recurring columns. I'm probably best known for RetRose Tinted, a series which I began in the Community Blogs and ran for six months before joining the site staff and taking it to the front page. I also contribute to An RPG Draws Near and the recently minted Sexy Time! column as well as serve up a weekly collection of the best deals on games (and completely gratuitous photos of women) in Discountoid.

I'm fond of all types of gaming, either on a screen or a tabletop. In terms of video games, my interests vary wildly from platformers (2D preferred) to RPGs and the occasional FPS. The greatest game of all time is Mega Man 2 and any suggestion otherwise will be met with swift vengeance.

About Rodney Dangerfield:

The mere inclusion of Rodney Dangerfield can vastly improve anything. Films, music, toasters, anything. In particular, the force of Rodney Dangerfield could elevate video games to the level in which they are accepted by the mainstream as a true art form, bringing together people of all races, creeds and tax brackets in peace and harmony.

RIP Rodney.
