About Me
OK, hmmmmm, where do I start? I guess I should start at the beginning of my gaming life. I'm talking summers spent in Clacton arcades wasting 10p's on Championship Sprint, Double Dragon and Turtles. I'm on about California Games, Daley Thompson and Winter Olympics... Aaaaaah, the C64 days, when I was but 5 or 6 years old, seemed the sunniest. I swear it was either bright sunshine soaked summer or just plain snow in those heady times.

Nowadays, like the weather, gaming has gotten complex... So much choice and so little cash.

In a house with many consoles and far too much gaming testosterone, I devote most play time to my PS3. I don't have a preference for game type, although I'd say FPS's float my boat the most and RPGs haven't grabbed me by the balls once, yet.

Right now I'm playing
Black Ops, FIFA 11, Enslaved and Fallout 3 (GOTY Edition)

PSN: Clancy5000

Peace.

Little Big Shop In Covent Garden
Clance | 6:55 AM on 11.12.2008 7 comments

So I was up West last night looking for some new trainers. Covent Garden is normally the place I go to carry out this kind of gangster shit. So, I popped into Neal's Yard shopping centre (which is full of skater shops and an over-priced cafe) because I was gagging for a slash after spending a little too long on London's fine underground system. Fate has it that I noticed that an entire shop had been transformed into a Little Big Planet house of fun.

Inside the store, which, if my memory serves me correctly, used to belong to Quiksilver were some giant Sackboys plotted about, loads of people making their own T-shirts and some plasma screens where you could sit and play the game. It was really well put together and fitted into the environment of Neal's Yard really well, with the kind of decor you would expect to promote this game.

Just thought I'd let y'all know in case you were in the area and fancied what appeared to be a free T-shirt making session and the possibility of being leered at through the window by someone like me: In a rush, shops were nearly shutting, trying to decide if I was going to buy my misses something I saw and trying for the life of me not to be so picky when looking for footwear. I didn't buy any trainers and I did end up buying a very Early christmas present for my dame. Then I went back to my Tottenham squat, getting some curry chicken on the way and a can of Dr. Pepper, plus a Snickers and a Strawberry Biopot with 'Butterfly' by Mariah carey stuck in my head. Fantastic! Yes, you care!

I'd kill for something like that in my area. I haven't even given LBP a try yet...

@Takeshi,

That's Sackboy? I thought it was Robbie Keane!

It is pretty damn cool. It's on two floors as well, lots of effort there...

Look out for the news tonight "Man arrested for smuggling giant sack of drugs onto a bus, blames the Dutch".
