I don't know. This game confuses me. I have been playing FF games since FF III, FF VI on the SNES. The stories have never been as weird and incomprehensible as XIII's story is. The whole fal'cie, l'cie thing is stupid. The voice acting is strange as well. What is supposed to be an emotional scene comes off as odd and annoying because Vanille is a little to chipper for her own sake. I also hate her Australian accent.

Linear. To say the least. I thought at first that I liked it. They cut away the pointless crap and pushed right down the story. But the more I play the more I wish for a town, an inn, some place to just chill. The constant push forward to fight and fight and fight. I don't mind that the side missions come later but after awhile of working you just want to chill.

Speaking of fighting, I don't know what to think. I like it because I am not micro-managing every damn thing. I don't because I can't have two people attack two different targets. Everyone attacks one target. I can't describe what I feel is missing from it.
