If there's one game that could tear me away from Bioshock, it's Metroid Prime 3. Holy crap, this game is amazingly good. Take all the classic things that made the original Prime games so great (scanning, completionist ocd behavior) and multiply it by... let's say 3. There are even little mini-achievements! The voice acting is a fantastic addition, and the story seems like it's going to be quite amazing, wrapping up the storyline just up until the first metroid for the NES.

Oh yeah, and Mother Brain. Fricking Mother Brain.

Get it. GET IT NOW.

When you say voice acting, you mean like someone telling you over a one radio about shit? Cuase that's one of the things I love about Bioshock, is it in Metroid too?

the prime story actually takes place between Metroid and Metroid II: Return of Samus. But yeah fucking epic game. Really picks up after the first level or so.

voice acting as in bioshock style sort of. and no, the scanning isnt tedious. i love it. also, i am totally ocd gotta catch em all type. i live for this shit.

It only gets better and better... the boss battles are the most epic ever, every single one so far has been amazing.

Hmm sounds really really good just wondering why Gamespot says that its not really that hard??? though I really don't know why I should trust those fuckers anyway...prolly playin' on easy mode anyway.

On Veteran it's no cakewalk for sure. I've stomped both previous Primes and been using the Wii-mote since launch... I've still got WTF pwned a few times.

If your an experianced Wii user and Prime player, hit-up Veteran.

There's also a unlocked even harder difficulty after one play-through also, so don't worry about how hard it'll be.

does anyone else want an intermediate control setup between standard and advanced? advanced = impossible to hold a steady camera. standard = slow as hell

I totally agree with you. I have the epic Bioshock but I'm currently playing this. I'm about 3 hours into it and I love it! Although scanning everything is fucking annoying..and I can't stop doing it.
