So here goes, my final impressions of Bioshock. First off, I want to apologize to anyone or any blog posting that I may have offended by saying this game sucked without actually playing it, well, without actually playing past the demo. It didn’t suck.
Now I'm not going to write some long ass final impression because honestly most people reading this have either A. beaten the game more than once, probably more than thrice! And B. My fingers are cold and it hurts to type.
I will now bullet point my final impressions:
• I was pleasantly surprised at how well paced the game was. The action never let up but it wasnt overbearing and it never became like a chore.
• I was NOT shocked to learn that Atlas was Fontaine, mostly because everyone here on DToid has been saying Atlas is Fontaine since Bioshock was released.
I have a weak heart so I thank you all for not allowing the shock of the Atlas/Fontaine to cause me any damage.
• Bioshock has some of the best voice acting I have heard in a game in a LONG LONG time. I found myself drowning out everything else around me just so I could focus in on the story and the voice actors telling it.
• I do not think they should make a Bioshock movie. I know that has nothing to do with my final impression but that's how I feel. So there.
• I still think that the blood and the character models looked too plasticy. The game surroundings were nice but some of the levels just seemed to repeat themselves with different colors.
• If they make a sequel I will buy it.
So those are my final impressions of Bioshock. If you haven’t played it yet you owe it to yourself to give it a fair shake as I did, you will not be disappointed.
Atlas is NOT Fontaine
Think about that...
...bitches
I didn't do the whole BioShock thing. The Vita-Chambers made it really easy, although now you can get rid of them with DLC or something so perhaps I'll give it a try. It was very cool for a little while, at first.
