Holy shit.

I am so fucking excited for this. Max Payne, and the sequel were amazing games for their time and I'm so happy that a movie is about to do it right. Well, for the most part. Mark W. doesn't exactly look like Max Payne, but he has the monologues right at least.
The only thing I can hope for in the movie is that those angels are dream sequences or some painkiller overdose. Also, I saw hints at Max's back story, which is fantastic that they are not leaving that out. (why would he freak out and kill people in the first place?)

Snow, guns, dead family, pain killers, it's all there and I'm hyped.

Fuck year.

When I saw the trailer, I cried a little inside. Now I want to play both games again to keep the memory of how great the games were.

The only way I'd see the movie is if Mila Kunis shows some nips.

I fucking hope those demon things are part of his dreams, like the sequrnces in in the game. Max Panye is noir, not supernatural bullshit.

I'm excited after seeing the trailer. Shawn Ryan, creator of The Shield, is writing the screenplay so there's hope for great quality.

As for the winged things, my guess is they're hallucinations caused by the Valkyr drug.

It also needs more bullet-time, It was suggested at in the trailer with that slow-mo, but a few nods at the game's use of it would not go amiss. But I do like the 'shaking camera' effect.

Otherwise your only option would be French Stewart.

i re-installed both games and am currently playing through both and love it. its funny.. i remember when there were talks about this movie shortly after the first game launched and that was back in '01-02 :P i cant wait.
