When people can't get the achievements with skill, they resort to alternate methods.
I'll admit I did it, it was pretty fun, everyone was nice about it. This just shows how desperate people can be for achievements.

For certain multi-player achievements, they require some skill. 3 sword kills, 10 in a row, 4 within 4 seconds, 2 in one spartan laser kill, and some of us don't have the time or patience to wait for the oppertunity to get these.


So there's always this method.

To get into achievement matches:
1. At the dashboard, go to the furthest tab on the right and select console settings.
2. Go down to Language and select the last Asian language.
3. Start Halo 3 and go to Matchmaking (3rd option from very top one).
4. Go to Ranked -> Lone Wolves.
5. Hit X and select 4th option.
6. Start matchmaking
(before the match begins, mention what achievements you need)

NOTES:
- most likely, you will not be paired with people on your friends list
- the achievements will appear as that Asian laguage on your console (everyone else will see it as English)

To change the achievements back into English:
1. Make sure language is back into English.
A. Go to the tab furthest on the right and select the first option.
B. Go down to the fourth option and hit A.
2. Sign out.
3. Select recover gamertag.
4. Enter all the info and accept.

NOTES:
- you DO NOT need to delete you profile first
- this will not mess up saves or anything else
- sometimes the servers are slow, so you will have to try later
- you need know your email/password

BASICALLY: You are changing your consoles language to some asian kind, then in matchmaking, you are going to lone wolves, then setting it to "only my language" So you are matched with only other people seeking achievements, and doing this method.

There are a lot of people doing this, and it works, although the achievements you gain will be in japanese when you view them. If you are unskilled and desperate go ahead, and do it.
