Hey mengs and womengs, it's your androgynous friend Cheeburga here with a blog!
Maybe you've been keeping up with Diablo 3, maybe you haven't. It was only one of the best selling Pc titles evar, and is still played today. But with great power, comes great bitching when a new entry in the series is revealed that doesn't stick to the usual formula of GRIMDARK in the fanboys eyes. There have been many photoshoops done to the screenshots to accomodate those whiners, and in my personal opinion, some look a tad better than the originals. But, recently, someone has gone the extra mile, they made a video!
Dedication at its finest.
Go here to see it!

Also, here, this is the mengs website.

Make sure to download that 10 second clip, it's impressive to say the least.
As 4 video:
I don't know. I see where people are coming from on the color issue but I think a lot of Blizzard's responses make sense too. They might have gone a LITTLE far into the WoW color zone but ultimately I don't think it's going to hurt it. I kind of don't care either way in other words.
AS TO WHERE I'VE BEEN?
Well, my good computer broke down a while a go, and school just started back up so I'm sort of busy with that. I don't know why I don't post more often, seems like a lot of old users don't. But I love everyone here still.
Blizzard has yet to disappoint me.
Seriously, these people need to stop BAWWWing and grow up. "IT LOOKS TOO PRETTY ITS NOT DIABLO" Well, you don't fucking make it, Blizzard does. They can do whatever the hell the want. They can make the Barbarian ride a fucking pink unicorn if they want, AND YOU CANT STOP THEM.
Diablo forums host some of the most wretched hives of scum and villanry
Blizzard'll do what they want, no matter how loud the 'fans' (read:retards who have no concept how game design) cry.
...but that video was merely an alteration to the original. Just like with the photoshopped pictures, I can't believe you people are expecting something fully fleshed out as if it would be retail quality.
Do you really think it's hard to create contrast between environments and enemies if there isn't a blue tint over everything?
I think the inclusion of a light radius would be logical... considering how it's a big part of a dungeon crawling game... It doesn't have to black-out the edges of the screen, though.
How about making the environments even more beautiful by using shadows to accentuate all colors and imporve the atmosphere?
That sounds like a perfectly level headed request, but I guess I'm a whiner for voicing an opinion about an unfinished title in a hugely successful series.
I echo the people asking where you've been. get back on xbox live to play some castle crashers or something... I was about to delete you today since you've been AWOL so long.
