Keith David is always memorable! Plus he has Disney experience as Goliath :D

I feel like I'm the only person who thought Rourke from Atlantis: The Lost Empire was deserving of the top ten. The man kidnapped the princess who got turned into a crystalline embodiment of power from the source of all power and life in the city and killed her father without hesitation. He was a total douche.
And I also feel like I'm the only person who has watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire. ='(

For me, Scar's song "Be Prepared" beats out Gaston's song. It gives me chills every time I hear it. It's melodic premeditated murder sung by a German!

TRIVIA TIME!
Cruella de Vil was originally planned to return as the villain in The Rescuers, but Disney decided they didn't want to make a sequel, so they created Madame Medusa. She would have worn alligator skin.
Also, I once heard that there are a couple shots in Beauty and the Beast that suggest Gaston is the one that killed Bambi's mom, but I'm not so sure how true that is.

Lack of Captain Hook is shocking, but Scar and Jafar really are the kings. I was actually watching Lion King last night and reveling in how camp Jeremy Irons' performance is. You can tell he found that role delicious.
I don't agree with the order, but I TOTALLY agree with the choices, so that's good enough for me. Pinnocchio is underrated. The scene on Pleasure island when Lampy is in a panic while he turns into a donkey still sends me chills up my spine though.
So I had to pull an all nighter last night, and seeing this post got me to dig through my own Disney collection to help the time go by.
I'm bummed you left out Shan Yu from Mulan. That guy was fucking crazy, damn near immortal, and was probably the most brutal of the Disney villains. And he was way more up front about it. Watch the scene where he orders one of the huns to shoot a soldier in the back, or when he decides to go to the village to "give the doll back to the little girl" (read: fucking kill her and the whole damn village.)
Seriously, he was really intense for a Disney movie.

For me it would be Cinderella's stepmother. I can understand trying to murder a kingdom, whatever. But when you're supposed to be someone's MOM and you abuse and neglect them when they have no one else...
The worst.
No wonder Cinderella's mind fractured and she started talking to the vermin in the house like they were her friends. Poor thing.

Oh, those siamese cats... back from that more innocent time when they could be a little bit racist without upsetting too many people. ^_^
I loved this list. great job... bambi's mom death and mufasa's still makes me cry.. like a baby. EVERY SINGLE TIME. but what about Claude Frollo?!! He gives me the chill.
anyways... does it sound to weird to love Hades? I mean... he is so cool: D Hercules is still my favorite disney movie.

Great list, although I probably would have put Malificent or Ursula at #1. Sad to see that Yzma didn't make the list. To this day I look for reasons to say 'Why do they even HAVE that lever?'
