As a longtime listener, I know that statement wasn't coming from a place of true belief. I heard that through my sarcastic, humor-in-tragedy sort of humor filter, and didn't personally take offense by it.
But I get how that can touch a reasonable nerve with someone.

Sounds like a funny joke to me. Now I must listen to the Podcast. Some people should learn a sense of humor, I laugh when my friends make fun of my religion because I have a sense of humor and I know they are joking.
I wasnt offended. The comment was obviously a sarcastic joke in general because you were listing all sorts of things the crazy types would think you wouldnt get into heaven for being.
