Thanks to everyone for participating in yesterday’s quiz. I curled up in a little ball and rolled all around my office this morning before calculating the results. I was trying to put myself in the “Sonic” mood.
This one turned out a little tougher than I expected. Only two people scored perfect scores: teknomcr and prowlerx083. And, of course, when it came down to the tie-breaker, they both got that right as well. Back to choosing a random name out of this dusty old hat, I guess. *shuffling hand in hat* The winner of this week’s quiz (and the 2000 point Wii Shop Channel gift card) is ... prowlerx083. Congratulations! Just e-mail your shipping information to chad@destructoid.com and I will send your prize right away. If you are curious, the dreaded color wheel (#9-12), Chaos Emerald (#14), and tricky seesaw (#19) questions were the most missed. You can check all the correct answers below to see how you did (hopefully you earned a badge!):

Who else besides me sees the checkpoint orb "Before" as purple instead of Blue?
I never liked the Genesis anyway.
"Progress through the game is made easier for the player by lamp posts that act as checkpoints. When Sonic passes a lamp post, its color changes from blue to red, and the next time a life is lost, gameplay will restart at that point rather than at the beginning of the act."
The same information was also gathered on multiple other sites.
Sorry. I have to stand strong. :)
Happy holidays y'all!

What does your friend think?
Thanks Chad!
My friend just slapped me for being confusing (she is on your side, I guess). :)
@everyone,
I just took A New Challenger's advice and checked the color from a screen shot (using its RGB value). The orb is exactly the same color as Sonic. If anyone wants to argue that Sonic is purple, I'm listening ... :)
Anyway, better luck next time I guess.
Also, what exactly is a goal sign? I had no idea, so I just guessed blue.
-I had no idea about the pigs either until I replayed it and looked really close at the screen.
-The goal sign is the Dr. Robotnik sign that you spin around at the end of most Zones to display an image of Sonic.
