Amazing what a difference a week makes! This past week was filled with more bandwagon packing than a Ford pickup full of migrant workers. I guess all that trend chasing wore everyone out, because today the cblogs were barren! I had to double-check my calendar, make sure today wasn't Saturday. Not that I'm complaining! Today's recap was a breeze! I wonder if it has anything to do with folks going back to school.

Speaking of school, I haven't mentioned this before but I've been trying my darndest for the past year to become a math teacher. I did plenty of tutoring in the spring and I've got another tutoring gig starting in October, but it's all peanut money. I'm still looking for a full-time job. I almost got one back in December at this charter school, but since then I haven't had so much as an email response from anyone else. I just need something to do during the day. I sometimes think about crawling back to the Barnes & Noble I worked at during high school, but that place frightens me.

But that's my problem, not yours. Your problem at the moment is to run! Run far away! The rhythm is gonna get you! Run!
