The recap team is now looking for a new regular Monday recapper, as well as additional reserve recappers. It's really a fun position and it lets you read cblogs that you may not have read otherwise, giving you a glimpse at a bit more of this great community. From my experience a recap typically takes 1-2 hours of work, depending on how many cblogs there are of course and whether or not you get distracted (which i've found can VERY easily happen :P).

@Emotoaster: This is what I do. I create a blog called General Musings [RESERVE] and put it on hide, and work there previewing it and editing it. When it's ready, I create a new blog, copy and paste, and send it into the wild fresh and right at the top of the page.

Get an imageshack account and host your images there, then you'll have no such trouble and you won't ever have to worry about the blog resizing the images wrong.

Use Photobucket or Imageshack and your images will be interchangeable. I find Photbucket to be more useful because it has a robust built in image editor.

Also download Notetab. It works perfectly with Dtoid's coding, and after a few blogs, you'll get the hang of using BBcodes and photobucket to the point where you won't need to preview your blog before posting.

I also find http://www.myfrogbag.com to be handy as fuck, it's like photobucket but without all the limitation bullshit. It's actually dsigned for Flash files, but also support any image type.
